Cody Simpson Reveals New Collaboration With Justin Bieber

“Justin and I have been in the studio for two weeks or so working on something pretty cool,” Cody told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY at the Young Hollywood Awards, where he presented Justin with the Champ for Charity award.

This is incredible news and Cody even spilled that it’s not just one collaboration! “It might be a little more than a song,” Cody said.

Cody and Justin have been hard at work in the recording studio recently, but keeping mum on what exactly they’ve been working on. Since Cody and Justin are working on more than a song, could it be an album?

“I don’t know yet,” Cody smiled. 

“We’ve just been messing around the guitars and just working on a bunch of music,” Cody told revealed to HollywoodLife.com. “We’re not really sure what it’s going to be yet, but you’ll hear something this year.” However, he said there a “real cool acoustic project” going up!

When asked what it’s like when Cody and Justin put their musical brains together, Cody detailed that they’ll just “go in the booth” and think of “different melodies and put together what we think is the best.”

Cody’s had massive music hits with “Surfboard” and “Pretty Brown Eyes,” and the pop star mentioned that whatever is important to him at the time — whether it’s solely his personal life or a certain special lady — usually makes the cut.
