Hong Kong actress Cecilia Cheung was praised for her beauty after being spotted barefaced at an arcade in China last Sunday (Mar 1).

The 34-year-old had come under pressure recently after photos of her with a slightly plump face surfaced online.

According to a Hong Kong magazine, the reconciliation of her former husband Nicholas Tse and Faye Wong had affected her emotions and health, and she suffered the side effects of a ‘puffy’ face from consuming Chinese medicine to correct her menstrual cycle.

However, the actress dispelled the rumours when she appeared on the streets of Hong Kong last Monday (Feb 23) looking refreshed.

On Sunday, a Chinese netizen also witnessed Cecilia’s crew accompanying her to an arcade in Beijing, where she tried her luck at a toy grabbing machine and won herself three toy plushies.

The netizen later shared his selfie with the actress on Weibo and praised her for looking young and radiant with his photo caption: “I coincidentally bumped into Cecilia Cheung today and she is really skinny and has a very good complexion. I could not even tell that she already has two children!”

The 17-year-old reality TV star, who is known for her curvaceous figure, took to her Instagram account yesterday (01.03.15) and claimed she's piled on more than a stone in weight in 10 months.

Sharing a flashback photograph of herself in black leggings, a white T-shirt and blonde hair from last May, she wrote: ''throwback to when I was 15 pounds skinnier & had blonde goin on (sic).''

Li Chen celebrates Valentine’s Day with Fan Bingbing in Shanghai

Chinese actress Fan Bingbing was recently revealed to have celebrated Valentine’s Day with her rumoured boyfriend Li Chen with a three-day, two-night hotel staycation in Shanghai.

According to Chinese media reports, the 33-year-old actress is one of the panellists of a talent show and was scheduled for a filming session on Valentine’s Day.

When asked how she had planned to spend her Valentine’s Day earlier on, Bingbing replied jokingly, “I will definitely spend it with two handsome men (fellow panellists Zhou Libo and Sa Beining) as we will be filming the show for the entire day.”

While she was tied down with work that day, Li Chen was seen boarding a flight in the wee hours from Beijing to Shanghai, where Bingbing’s filming took place.

Once he had reached, Li Chen reportedly walked out of the airport terminal briskly and took off in a lavish car, which was already parked at the side to anticipate his arrival.

The actor was said to have taken several detours before finally reaching Putong Shangri-La, the hotel where Bingbing had stayed in while working in Shanghai.

The rumoured couple was speculated to meet up on the night of Valentine’s Day and witnesses claimed they did not step out of the hotel the next day.

It was only till the morning of Feb 16 when they ended their three-day meet-up, where Li Chen boarded a car first and headed to the airport swiftly at 6 a.m. while Bingbing and her assistant followed shortly after at 9 a.m.

Kim Soo Hyun considering new drama role

Fans of Korean actor Kim Soo Hyun may finally get to see him gracing their small screens again after he rejected the lead role in Doctor Frankenstein.

Korean news outlet Ilgan Sports reported that scriptwriter Park Ji Eun, of his previous hit drama You Who Came from the Stars, contacted the actor directly to star in her upcoming project, Producers (working title). The drama is said to be set in the entertainment industry but its plot and further details have yet to be confirmed.

A representative from his label, KeyEast Entertainment, confirmed that the casting offer was made but stressed that a decision has yet to be made. Kim Soo Hyun is said to be considering the role in a positive light. The crew added that the drama’s production is in its early stages and that while Kim Soo Hyun has been approached for the role, no decisions have been made.

Kim Soo Hyun has skyrocketed in popularity after a series of hit dramas, with the most recent two being You Who Came from the Stars and The Moon that Embraces the Sun. He has also starred in highly successful movies, in particular The Thieves and Secretly, Greatly.

Scriptwriter Park has also had a string of successful dramas, which includes the 2013 family drama Unexpected You and 2009 rom-com Queen of Housewives. Unexpected You was a ratings giant, hitting average ratings of 33.1% and a peak of 52.3% and receiving numerous accolades for its script.

Moses Chan and Aimee Chan welcome second son

Hong Kong celebrity couple Moses Chan and Aimee Chan welcomed their second son, Nathan Lucas Chan, on Feb 26. The baby boy weighed 2.8kg at birth and is said to bear sharp resemblance to his father.

While speaking to the media at Canossa Hospital on Saturday, the couple said that they have yet to come up with the child’s Chinese name, but they would prefer one that does not sound similar to their elder son Aiden Joshua’s Chinese name, Chen Zi Ye. In addition, Aimee explained that Nathan represents “a gift from God” and Lucas refers to a “star”.

Just two days after giving birth, Aimee had a radiant complexion and appeared to be in good condition. However, the actress revealed that the delivery process was more toilsome this time around, as the labour contractions lasted for five hours.

When asked if he has any rewards for his wife, Moses laughed in reply: “[I will give her] anything that she wants. It’d be a tough one this time.”

Moses, who accompanied Aimee throughout the process, also personally cut the baby’s umbilical cord. “I was very worried when I saw her in so much pain. But she is very strong. I was moved to tears when I saw the baby!” he exclaimed.

In addition, Moses also expressed his wish to try for a daughter in future. The actor is currently putting work on hold to look after his wife.

Witnesses said that the actress smiled happily and appeared relaxed. She was also said to exude the beauty of a young girl with her fair glistening skin, making it difficult to tell that she is already a mother-of-two.

While her cheeks may have appeared round and full in the photos taken, Cecilia’s face was not swollen.

Throughout her night out, Cecilia kindly acceded to photo requests from passer-bys. When a passer-by praised her for her beauty, Cecilia gave a bright smile immediately as she could not contain her joy.

Chris Martin has been writing ''love songs'' for Gwyneth Paltrow.

''He's written her love songs and has put his relationship with Jen on hold more than once.

Will Yewon and CNBLUE's Jonghyun be the new cast members on 'We Got Married'?

Former Jewelry member Kang Yewon and CNBLUE’s Lee Jonghyun are reported to be in talks about joining MBC’s virtual marriage program, ‘We Got Married ‘.

The two idols are expected to fill the empty spots in the program left by two couples, Nam Goongmin-Hong jinyoung and Yura-Hong Jonghyun.

However, the PD of this program revealed to Korean media Newsen today that no decision has been made regarding additional cast members.

“We finished the meeting for selecting the new cast yesterday. The new cast members have not been decided yet, we will make a decision by today”.
