Hong Kong actress Anita Yuen was reported to be pregnant after she
was spotted recently having put on some weight on her face. She was
dining with a friend and her tummy bulge was obvious even though she
wore a loose-fitting shirt.
Anita was seen constantly rubbing her
tummy and taking cautious steps, leading to rumours of her expecting a
second child. However, the 43-year-old posted a photo of herself with
tabloid reports on Weibo today: “I should not stuff myself with food
next time, but I hope the rumours will come true soon.”
She has an 8-year-old son with husband Julian Cheung but mentioned previously that “having a son and a daughter
is the greatest joy in life.” Anita was also said to have reduced her
workload in recent years and visited a traditional physician to
condition her body for another baby.
Julian, who is slated to film Triumph in the Skies movie followed by a Hong Kong adaptation of Pretty Woman this year and then Return of the Cuckoo next year, had requested to film Return of the Cuckoo first and delay filming for Pretty Woman.
Many
speculated he made the changes to his schedule as he wanted to take
care of Anita, but it turned out that she is not pregnant after all.
