American actress Maggie Q, who started her showbiz career in Hong Kong, is engaged to Golden Globe winner Dylan McDermott after a whirlwind romance. The two met while working on American series Stalker last September and were subsequently spotted on shopping and dinner dates.
In November, Maggie and Dylan were seen behaving intimately at a Lakers basketball match. At the recent Golden Globe awards ceremony, the couple went public with their relationship by showing up together.
Sources revealed that Dylan proposed to Maggie in Hawaii, shortly after they started dating, and it was only last week that the acclaimed actor presented her with a diamond ring. However, the couple has reportedly yet to set a wedding date.
Apart from a two-year romance with Hong Kong-American actor Daniel Wu, Maggie was also romantically linked to Hong Kong celebrity Edison Chen, Japanese footballer Hidetoshi Nakata, Korean-American heartthrob Daniel Henney and American actor Justin Long in the past.
Dylan was married to Iranian-American actress Shiva Rose for 13 years. The ex-couple, who are parents to two girls, officially divorced in 2009.
