Super Junior brings home three trophies at 4th Gaon Music Chart Awards

Idol group Super Junior has proven that they are still dominating the K-pop industry by winning three categories at the ’4th Gaon Music Chart Awards’.

The group, who debuted in 2005, started their celebrations by winning in the ‘Weibo K-Pop Star Award’ category, proving their popularity within K-pop lovers in China.

They also won against Block B, B1A4, INFINITE, and JYJ by bringing home the ‘Third Quarter Best Selling Record Award’ trophy for their 7th album ‘Mamacita’. The album is their comeback album after a two-year hiatus.

The sales power of Super Junior was once again proven when the MC called the group’s name once again as the winner of the ‘Fourth Quarter Best Selling Record Award’ for their special album ‘This Is Love’.
