BTS Gathers 25,000 Fans to Yokohama Arena on Weekday

BTS kicked off its first arena concert in Yokohama.

BTS′ 2015 BTS LIVE The Most Beautiful Moment in Life On Stage ~Japan Edition~ opened at the Yokohama Arena on December 8 and 9, gathering 25,000 fans.As BTS′ first arena show, the concert was particularly meaningful for the group.

The arena concert, which BTS held for the first time less than two years since their Japan debut, sold out all 25,000 tickets despite it being held on a weekday

Following a flood of requests from fans who were unable to get tickets, standing room and viewing room tickets were added, which sold out immediately as well, demonstrating locals′ explosive interest in BTS.

BTS drew cheers from the audience with powerful live performances of Run, Boy in Luv, Dope and War of Hormone.

The group also performed the Japanese version of I NEED U, which topped Oricon′s daily singles chart and Tower Records′ chart when it was released on December 8, the same day as the first show, live for the first time, drawing loud cheers from the fans. A birthday party for member Jin was held on the second day, December 9, where he celebrated the special day with 12,000 fans.

The Japanese fans sang along to BTS′ Miss Right, I NEED U and Dope, shocking the staff members on location.

The 2015 BTS LIVE The Most Beautiful Moment in Life On Stage ~Japan Edition~ will take over the Kobe World Memorial Hall from December 26-28.
