BIGBANG has an exciting schedule of promotional activities lined up after the release of the first of their singles, which included tracks ‘Loser’ and ‘Bae Bae’.
With promotions in full gear, some questioned if they would be making an appearance on KBS’s Music Bank. YG Entertainment’s artistes have had rare appearances on the channel’s shows, which was reportedly due to a strained relationship between the two parties.
However, YG’s Yang Hyun Suk explained that it was not the case with an interview with Korean media outlet TV report, sharing that BIGBANG’s continued absence from Music Bank was due to both parties’ inability to match well to best showcase their artistes’ talents.
This announcement was coupled with the confirmation that the group will guest on KBS’s Happy Together 3, a hit talk show where fixed cast members and guests speak about various topics while dressed in sauna attire.
Furthermore, reports have confirmed that the quintet is in talks to join Running Man for the first time in three years, which has been confirmed by the show’s production director, who stressed that their appearance is yet to be set in stone.
BIGBANG will release their next single on June 1.
