Kim Hyun Joong to possibly enlist next week

Kim Hyun Joong has been reported by Korean media outlet Dispatch to be enlisting on May 12. He is said to be enlisting at a camp in Goyang and will reportedly serve active duty for 21 months.

Dispatch added that it was not possible for him to delay his enlistment further despite his appeal to request for more time to manage his personal life after his ex-girlfriend’s pregnancy was confirmed. She is said to have a September due date.

In related news, his ex-girlfriend is said to have sued him for 1.6 billion won (S$1.98 million) for psychological damages she suffered due to the relationship she had with the entertainer.

His label, KeyEast, shared that they will not comment on the reports as he wishes to enlist quietly into the military. Confirming the lawsuit, KeyEast said that they will be engaging legal representatives to discuss the case.

Hyun Joong was fined after he was found guilty of assaulting his ex-girlfriend last year and she later revealed that she was pregnant with his child, which he has also confirmed to be true.
