Set to celebrate her first Mother’s Day this year, it’s no wonder Taiwanese actress Patty Hou got a little poignant when she posted her first joint picture with her son Ian Huang on Facebook.
She penned a touching caption for the photo and wrote: “Thank you for making me want to become a stronger person. Thank you for bringing so much joy to the family and thank you for being you.”
In the photo, Patty had her hands wrapped around her chubby son and both mother and child had blissful smiles on their faces.
Netizens left comments calling the big-eyed Ian a “cute baby” and added that the two resembled “a perfect picture of happiness”. A few even said that Ian looks more like his father.
In 2011, 37-year-old Patty married Kenneth “Ken” Huang, Vice-President of Citigroup Global Securities. The host only gave birth to her son in September last year and she has only posted three photographs of her son on Facebook so far, including one with his great grandmother.
