Liv Tyler admits to insecurities

Liv Tyler is prone to feelings of insecurity.

The 38-year-old beauty has revealed that despite being considered to be one of the world's most desirable women, she sometimes frets about her looks.

Liv - who has sons Milo, 10, and Sailor, eight months - admitted: "I'm looking at photos [of models] and thinking, wait, should I look like that? Do I need to do that? Do I want that?"

The star also admitted the fashion industry has changed in dramatic style since she started her career at the age of 14.

She said: "The girls walking the catwalk [now] are very, very thin and very tall... The whole industry has changed."

What's more, Liv claimed there's an increasing pressure on actresses to conform to a particular look.

She told Yahoo Style: "I think there is a lot of pressure [in Hollywood] to look the same, now more than ever. But I always try to remind myself of who I am, and stay true to that, to not compare myself to others."

Meanwhile, the actress revealed she occasionally feels frustrated by her fame.

She said: "I go through periods where I just want to wear sweatpants and a puffer coat, and I wish I lived in Maine where I grew up and I could just jump in the car and go to school."
