The debate goes on as to whether Park Shin Hye and Lee Jong Suk are dating. The two, who worked together on hit drama Pinocchio, are said to have become more than friends after filming wrapped.
In photos and a video first released by Korean news outlet Dispatch, the two were seen dressed casually on multiple occasions. In their report, they shared that the pair would go on late night dates in his two cars, where he would pick her up from her home.
They added that the actors met frequently while on overseas trips, including in Hawaii and Shanghai. Their respective agencies issued denials of the relationship, calling the rumours untrue.
Dispatch hit back after the statements were issued by releasing more photos of the two together, comparing how Shin Hye treats her other male friends as compared to Jong Suk, emphasising how cautious she is when meeting her co-star. Also included were photos of the pair together in his new home even before he officially moved in last month.
Last night, SBS’s Night of TV Entertainment spoke to Dispatch writer Park In Young, who worked on the story. She shared that the frequency and cautiousness displayed by the actors were consistent with other celebrities they caught dating in the past.
In addition, the programme spoke to Shin Hye’s label, S.A.L.T Entertainment, who shared that despite their initial denial of their relationship, they have yet to be able to contact their artiste, who is currently on a backpacking trip, to clarify the matter with her personally.
Jong Suk’s agency, Wellmade Yedang, was uncontactable for further comment.
