Girls’ Generation shed their perfect images on the most recent episode of hit variety series Running Man during their first appearance on the show as a complete unit.
The girl group, which is known for their amazing visuals, put aside their glitzy stage costumes and traded them in for exercise gear as they got down and dirty in various challenges, including some that took place in mud flats.
As part of the last segment, all eight girls were sent scurrying for cover with other cast members as guests Choi Hong Man and SHINee’s Minho hunted them down to eliminate them from the game.
The segment spawned hilarious moments, such as when Sooyoung tried to trade her members’ phone numbers, concert tickets and autographed albums for her freedom when martial artist Choi Hong Man spotted her.
Meanwhile, maknae (youngest member) Seohyun was seen donning a mask in parts of the episode, which sparked concern among fans. The 24-year-old took to her Instagram to assure fans that while she sustained a small injury on her face while filming, she has fully recovered since then.
The Running Man episode featuring Girls’ Generation aired on July 5.
