Taiwanese–American actor George Hu fell while training with heavy vehicles on Wednesday afternoon, and suffered four broken ribs, a dislocated shoulder and a torn ligament in his right shoulder. He also showed signs of a collapsed lung.
The actor was training for his latest movie when he fell, and was rushed to a hospital near Pingxi district, about 25 km east of Taipei. He was then transferred to a larger hospital.
George later posted on Facebook to tell his fans he was OK. “Thank you all for your concern,” he wrote.
For his new movie role, the actor earned a driver’s license for heavy motor vehicles in mid-September.
