Jam Hsiao recovers from Influenza A H3N2

Taiwanese singer Jam Hsiao performed for the first time on Sunday night (Dec 18) after cancelling a number of performances during the past week because he fell ill  and was diagnosed with Influenza A virus, H3N2 more than a week ago on December 10.

The singer sang for the finale of the Christmasland in New Taipei City concert and assured the media during an interview that he was feeling much better compared to when he first fell ill and felt weakness in his limbs.

However, the media was skeptical as Jam let out a cough when he was answering a question, but the singer said, “There’s no problem, it’s alright! I’ve rested for quite a while!”

He also let in that he will not be reducing his performances as he has no problems coping with his current workload.

When asked if he had a Christmas wish, the 29 year-old wished for everyone to be well and firmly reiterated that he does not accept presents. Fans are familiar with Jam’s request for no gifts as they donate to charities every year on his birthday in his name instead of spending money on a birthday gift for him.
