Andy Lau is still stuck in hospital and recuperating from his injuries when he fell from a horse last month.
However, the Hong Kong actor did not forget to do his part as a citizen
and showed concern to the victims of the Hong Kong MTR (metro) arson
attack.

people were injured after a mentally ill man set himself ablaze in the
train carriage on Saturday (Feb 11) and Andy wrote a short note to on
his official fan site to comfort the victims and their family. “Press
on, get well soon!” he wrote. “Praying for recovery for all the victims,
and for Hong Kong to have more love and less bitterness. Peace and
love!”
Fans were moved by the actor’s thoughtful gesture, and sent him well wishes for a speedy recovery.
The Heavenly King also assured his fans that he his condition was improving and that he “missed everyone.”
“My
dearest family, I’m recovering well as expected, don’t worry!” he said.
The 55 year-old actor also took the chance to wish his fans a happy
Spring Lantern Festival before the Chinese New Year celebrations
concluded on Saturday.
Andy spent Chinese New Year in the hospital due to swelling at his back, but recent visits from fellow celebrity friends confirmed that the actor is on the mend and may be discharged anytime soon.
