Olivia Wilde is to star with Samuel L. Jackson and Antonio Banderas in 'Life Itself'.
Dan Fogelman, the creator of hit US comedy/drama series 'This Is Us', is
to direct and pen the romantic drama which has been delayed due to the
success of his show NBC show.
Also starring in the project is 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' actor
Oscar Isaac, 'Ready Player One' actress Olivia Cook and Laia Costa.
The plot centres on Isaac and Wilde who will play a love-struck couple
who are at the centre of a relationship storyline which connects
multiple generations and sees the extended characters all connected by
one tragic event.
Shooting on the project is due to begin this spring with locations
including New York City and Seville in Spain with FilmNation is
financing and Temple Hill's Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey producing with
FilmNation's Aaron Ryder.
The movie will be the first role for Wilde, 32, since she and her fiancé
Jason Sudeikis welcomed their second child, daughter Daisy, into the
world last October.
The couple already have a son called Otis together.
