Super Junior′s Kyuhyun has topped Japan′s Oricon chart with his 1st Japanese solo studio album One Voice.
On February 14, Kyuhyun′s agency SM Entertainment shared that Kyuhyun′s 1st Japanese studio album One Voice,
which was released on February 8, reached number 1 on Oricon′s daily
chart as soon as it was released and has also reached number 1 on the
weekly chart.Kyuhyun is especially gaining attention as he has set a new
record. This event marks the first time an international solo artist
from a group reached number 1 on Oricon′s weekly chart with their 1st
studio album.
On February 14, Oricon shared the news of Kyuhyun′s success by stating
through their website, "Super Junior Kyhyun′s 1st studio album ranks
number 1, a first for an international group member."
Kyuhyun also showed his excitement after hearing the news and shared, "I
am very happy that my 1st Japanese studio album ′One Voice′ has reached
number 1 on Oricon′s weekly chart."
Kyuhyun′s 1st Japanese solo studio album One Voice consists of a total of 10 tracks including title track My Serious Love Comedy, Kyuhyun′s first Japanese single Celebration and Japanese versions of his Korean hits At Gwanghwamun and Blah Blah.
Meanwhile, Kyuhyun is currently touring Japan with his concert Super Junior-Kyuhyun Japan Tour 2017~One Voice~. He began in Yokohama on January 18 and will hold a total of 16 concerts in 6 Japanese cities.
