Wang Leehom celebrated Chinese New Year Eve at an orphanage

Instead of having reunion dinner at home with his loved ones like everyone else, Taiwanese singer Wang Leehom chose to spend the eve of Chinese New Year with the children at an orphanage along with his wife, Lee Jinglei.

Despite the 40 year-old singer’s packed schedule which includes promotional events for his concert documentary, Fire Up, he freed up time to handpick new clothes and prepare festive decor in advance for the children at the orphanage. He also brought homemade cookies the previous time he visited with his wife on Mothers’ Day last year.

He highlighted the importance of parents showing love to their children and shared that he could never imagine his two daughters, Jiali and Jiana, growing up without love from their family.

Said Leehom, “Chinese New Year Eve is really special for me this year, I’m really happy to have spent it with the kids!”

The children at the orphanage were thrilled to see the couple visiting again and they had a great time hanging up the Chinese New Year decor and wrapping dumplings together.

Other than spending time with the children, Leehom and his wife also took the chance to show their appreciation for the staff working at the orphanage for keeping the children company on the eve of Chinese New Year.
