Eva Mendes has ''banned'' Ryan Gosling from talking to Rachel McAdams.
The 'Place Beyond The Pines' actress - who recently gave birth to two-month-old Esmeralda, who she has with Ryan, 34 - has reportedly stopped her partner's ex-girlfriend from contacting the couple after she called to congratulate them on their new arrival.
A source said: ''Rachel had the best of intentions when she called.
''She wanted to congratulate Ryan on the baby, but also to find out how he was doing.''
However, the phone call is believed to have created problems between the couple.
The insider continued to National Enquirer magazine: ''It caused a big scene.
''Now Eva's banned him from taking Rachel's calls.''
Meanwhile, the 40-year-old actress has revealed that some of the ''wildest nights'' of her life have taken place since she gave birth.
She explained: ''I thought my wild nights were over but these are some of the wildest nights I've ever had.
''I'm doing it without a nanny for now but I'm open to the idea of having a nanny in the future.
''For me that part of being a mother at this early stage is the struggle of not being able to sleep and not knowing what I'm doing and really going through it with her and battling out those nights.''
