Alice Nine Leaves Record Label PS Company

Alice Nine has just announced that they would be leaving PS Company, the record label which first signed them up ten years ago. Vocalist Shou broke the news via his Twitter account.

In a lengthy post spanning several tweets, Shou has revealed that Alice Nine would be graduating from PS Company on August 25th. He acknowledged that PSC has reared them from the beginning but they take this decision to graduate in time for their 10th anniversary as a step towards further growth.

He also referred to the move as going back to the basics. While he note that it might worry fans, he gave assurance that now is the best time.

Shou ended his announcement with an invite to join them with smiles on August 23rd at Fuji Q Highlands Conifer Forest (venue of their anniversary live). This upcoming live, he said, will also be the band's way of giving back to their soon to be former record label. Moreover, it will be Alice Nine's first step towards the future.

In response, fans have voiced out their support for the band. Other jrockers also tweeted their best wishes including Mao of the band Sadie, Kouki from D=OUT, ViViD's Ko-ki and Yui from UNITE.
