The two starred on X-Man, which aired from 2003 to 2007, making headlines for their reel-life romance when their apparent affection caused romantic speculation from netizens and viewers alike.
Kim Jong Gook has named Yoon Eun Hye as his ideal type on numerous occasions, causing those who enjoy seeing the pair together to root for a variety show reunion for the two.
It seems we are one step closer to this reunion with broadcaster SBS, which is home to both X-Man and Running Man, declared on its official Twitter account that it would “summon” the popular actress to Running Man if the tweet reached 10,000 retweets.
Kim Jong Gook is a fixed cast member of Running Man, on which he has built a strong reputation for his athletic ability and is affectionately labeled as Sparta Gook. The tweet has garnered over 25,000 retweets at press time since the tweet was published yesterday (Feb 5).
SBS has yet to provide any updates on the situation at press time but fans remain hopeful to finally see the two together on-screen once again.
