Calling male idol hopefuls everywhere! Boys24′s global recruitment page is officially open!
Those who wish to audition for Boys24 can now apply through the global recruitment page (with instructions on how to apply available in English, Japanese, Chinese-Simplified and Traditional) on Mwave.
Applications will be accepted until February 19, so if you have what it takes, don′t think twice and apply now!Boys24 is a 25 billion won mega K-Pop project being co-produced by CJ E&M′s Music Business Unit and Liveworks Company, the agency which currently houses Shinhwa′s Shin Hye Sung and Lee Min Woo.
Following two rounds of auditions, the applicants who pass will receive professional training and various missions before the final 24 are selected to receive rigorous dance and vocal training as well as foreign language lessons.
The 24 male idol hopefuls will then present live shows every day for an entire year, similar to the daily showings of Broadway performances, at the Mesa Building Popcorn Hall in Myeongdong beginning in August, as a new kind of K-Pop show project to attract more tourists and to lead a new hallyu culture.
Not only that, from the selection process to the training and performance preparations, viewers will be invited along for the ride through TV broadcasts.
