Canadian-born actress Christy Chung looks just about set to tie the
knot with Chinese actor-singer Golden Zhang next month, as details of
her preparations for the big day surface online.
The
46-year-old, who has three daughters from two previous marriages, made
an effort to involve her children in the preparations, even bringing her
eldest daughter along to her pre-wedding shoot.
Photos of Christy
trying on wedding dresses with her two youngest daughters was recently
posted online by a fashion designer. In the photos, Christy can be seen
dressed in a full blue gown, with her two younger daughters cheekily
peeking out from the skirt.
The designer also revealed that Christy plans to follow traditions
and observe the rites and customs of a traditional Chinese wedding,
despite being born overseas. She also plans to wear up to six different
dresses during her big day.
“Christy and her husband will perform a
song and dance item, along with six dancers. The outfits will be sexy,
with a blue and white theme. Various sea creatures will also be tacked
on as decorations,” the designer shared.
Christy first walked down
the aisle with actor Glen Ross in 1998 before divorcing him in 2002;
the couple has a daughter, Yasmine, who was born in 1998. In 2003, she
married music producer Jon Yen and has two daughters with him, Jaden and
Cayla, the couple filed for a divorce in 2011.
