Jam Hsiao wants to shed 'rain god' title

Jam Hsiao appeared as the ambassador for a campaign to raise funds for the visually disabled. He hoped that the public would help to raise funds for reading equipment for those in need.

He also played basketball with the children and hoped his fans will help with these children's studies and publishing projects. Speaking after the event, he shared, "The children are so lovely and they love to play and chat."

Nicknamed the rain god, it was unsurprising that it rained during the event. He confessed that he has been trying all sorts of different methods to get better weather because of the recent rainy days. He even tried to use traditional methods of burning paper turtles and making sunny dolls but confessed sheepishly that it was all in vain. He quipped, "I don’t want to be called the rain god anymore."
