New details from Bruce Jenner’s revealing conversation with his daughters about his transition have emerged, The New York Post reports.
Sources say the former Olympian “got a little emotional” while telling Kourtney,Kim and Khloé Kardashian, Kendall and Kylie Jenner on Jan. 19, according to Us Weekly.
“It wasn’t a jaw-dropping conversation,” said the insider, who noted the taped conversation will air during episode 13 of the upcoming season of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”
“He literally started the conversation with, ‘Hey guys, I’m becoming a woman,'” said an insider. “‘But I’m sure you probably already figured that out.'”
He also asked his daughters to do two things: First, stop calling him Bruce and use a name he’s chosen. Second, “He told the kids that if anybody asks, they are just to respond, ‘Bruce is in a very good and happy place,’” said an insider.
However, what didn’t come out in that taped conversation was whether the 65-year-old will undergo sex reassignment surgery. “That is such an elephant in the room,” said one source, adding, “But the girls are good with elephants.” Another family confidante notes, “They don’t really want to know.”
As previously reported, the family is lending their support to Kris Jenner's ex-husband during the transition, which will be captured for a docuseries for E! A sit-down interview with ABC’s Diane Sawyer is also set to air closer to summer.
