Recent photos of Taiwanese multi-hyphenate Jay Chou and his wife Hannah Quinlivan honeymooning in Japan further fuelled rumours of the couple expecting their first child together.
The couple was seen arriving in Japan a few days ago without the accompaniment of any relatives or assistants.
While shopping in Japan, Hannah, who was wearing a grey and black coat was photographed with a protruding belly bulge from her side view, looking pregnant. Jay was seen behaving like an attentive husband and held his wife’s hand throughout their shopping trip. When they had to climb the stairs, Jay appeared extra cautious and his behaviour contributed to rumours of Hannah’s pregnancy.

These rumours started when the Taiwan-based Australian model started backed out of a film which had scenes that required her to play basketball and perform rigorous sports activities. The speculations continued when she was seen in a loose-fitting black dress during a recent trip to Gold Coast, Australia, where the newly-weds held a third wedding reception in Brisbane with the bride’s family, during the first week of March.
Jay expressed his desire to become a father on several occasions and once said he would like to have five children to form his own music band. At his second wedding banquet in Taipei, he replied, “Soon, soon,” when asked if fans can expect to hear good news in the near future.
