Caitlyn Jenner's mother will still continue to call her Bruce.
Esther, 88, has revealed she will not be calling the 65-year-old former Olympian by her new name but did admit Caitlyn is "so much more at ease" since transitioning into a woman.
She told Access Hollywood: "She's beautiful! I was there last week, well actually, I got home a week and a half ago. And I met Caitlyn. She is ... so much more at ease.
"I still have to call him Bruce. His father and I named him that. It's going to be a struggle for me to get used to the change, but happily so ... I'm very happy for him - or her!"
Meanwhile, Esther also admitted, at one point, she thought Caitlyn had decided to undergo a gender transition to "make money".
She told Vanity Fair magazine: "I woke up one night and all I was thinking about is: Why is it necessary (for Caitlyn) to go through all these surgeries? Is this all about making money? And that was bothering me.
"He's lived a life the last 25 years - and I don't know if it was both he and Kris or mainly Kris - it seemed like their lifestyle was about money; that's why it came to my mind."
Caitlyn's stepdaughters Kim Kardashian West, Khloe Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashain and her daughters Kendall and Kylie Jenner have posted messages of support on social media since the first photographs of Caitlyn were revealed yesterday (01.06.15).
