Taiwanese artiste Jay Chou is due to welcome his first child soon, but before that, the 36-year-old has no plans to divulge more details about the baby and intends to keep everyone in suspense.
Yesterday, lyricist Vincent Fang (Jay’s good friend whom he often collaborates with) accidentally revealed the delivery date at an event he was at.
Although he denied knowing the baby’s gender, when pressed by the media for more details, he let slip of Hannah’s due date when asked to clarify if he will be choosing a name for Jay’s baby. “The little one is expected to arrive around July or August. Wait for him to be born, and then we’ll talk,” he said.
Vincent also shared that he has yet to prepare a gift for the new baby and said he had to scrape his original plans to get a stroller because Jay already has one.
Lastly, the reporters asked Vincent if he would want Jay and Hannah’s child to be “his god-son” to which he immediately replied, “No, I don’t usually do that.”
Before the media could confirm if he was implying that the child was male, Vincent uttered in reply: “I don’t know.”
