BEAST’s Hyunseung and 4Minute’s HyunA, collectively known as the unit group Trouble Maker, is arguably K-Pop’s hottest co-ed act. The duo, who has amassed fans with their hits ‘Trouble Maker’ and ‘Now’, have a sizzling chemistry that have led to many speculating that the two dated in real life.
Cube TV, which was launched by label Cube Entertainment, has posted that they are looking for successors to the pair with their new programme, NEXT Trouble Maker. The show will bring viewers through the journey that it takes to discover upcoming stars through Cube’s global auditions.
Fans have questioned whether this marks the official end of Trouble Maker, whose stage presence and chemistry have captivated many. Some also doubt whether those who go for the audition will be able to live up to the high expectations that will be placed on whoever makes the cut, given that both Hyunseung and HyunA had a wealth of experience with their respective groups prior to the unit’s debut.
Cube has yet to announce the official dates for the audition and launch of the show.
