Celebrity couple Cecilia Liu and Nicky Wu have been rumoured to be preparing to start a family next year.
The
lovebirds, who have fallen victim to their busy work schedules ever
since tying the knot earlier this year, were spotted getting a checkup
at a hospital in Taiwan recently.
Nicky was in Taiwan earlier this month to promote his latest drama The Legend of Zu Mountain, while Cecilia arrived in Taiwan a few days later.
In
an attempt to keep the news of their hospital visit private, the
hospital was said to have arranged a special resting lounge for the duo.
The management also sent out a company-wide announcement in the
morning, requesting for all hospital staff to refrain from asking the
couple for pictures or autographs. They were also cautioned against
making known the fact that the pair was visiting.
According to the reports, the couple underwent a urine analysis, a
blood test, and ultrasound scans, amongst other tests. The checkup was
said to cost a total of NT$100,000 (approximately S$4233).
Nicky had previously revealed that they were open to the idea of starting a family.
However, when asked to comment on the matter, the couple’s manager
stressed that the couple had merely gone for a routine health check-up
and that it was not related to baby-making plans.
