Yvonne Lim and Alex Tien’s little boy Alex Junior - fondly known as AJ - is going to be a big brother.
Today
(July 25), it was revealed that the local actress, who is currently
based in Taiwan with her family, has just passed her first trimester of
pregnancy and is due to give birth to her second child in January next
year.
In a photo shared by her artiste management agency, Yvonne is seen showing off a pronounced baby bump underneath a white tank top, as her husband holds their son and a sign that proudly proclaims “Baby No. 2!”

When asked if she plans to deliver the child in Singapore
or Taiwan, the 39-year-old said that she is not sure yet, but already
has confinement centres in both countries on standby. She added that
this was an unexpected pregnancy, and that she has yet to know the sex
of the baby. However, she hopes for a little girl so that her family
will have the "perfect" combination of a son and a daughter.
Little
AJ is clearly excited to have a sibling. According to Yvonne, the
one-and-a-half-year-old loves to kiss her swollen tummy, and even told
her that he wants an older sister (to which she laughed and explained
that only having a younger sister is possible).
Hubby Alex, 36, is
also thrilled to be a dad-of-two. In fact, he has already begun
mentioning baby no. 3 - much to Yvonne's dismay, who joked about wanting
to slap him when he said that, as she would want to wait at least a few
years after their second one is born.
Upon hearing the happy
news, the only local artiste Yvonne informed was Hong Hui Fang. "Every
time Hui Fang tells me to quickly have a child, it happens!" she said.
"If anyone wishes to have children, just ask her for her blessing. (laughs)"
Yvonne and Alex, formerly of Taiwanese boy band B.A.D, wed in September 2014 and welcomed AJ into the world in December
that same year. Since tying the knot and becoming a mother, Yvonne has
taken a break from TV screens, with her last project being 2014’s Blessings.
