Hebe Tien showed up at the Cloud Gate Theater to rehearse her first
stage play "Serenade" scheduled to premiere tomorrow. Playing a
therapist for sleep disorders, she would sing a song "When You Are
Gone". When asked about her feelings, she teased, "I am lame beyond
imagination." She said it needed a lot of courage to play, saying
jokingly that she was just a "sleeping companion". Her new song "Every
Day Is a Miracle" was criticized by some fans that "its quality was like
that of a Karaoke version", but Hebe said when interviewed that she
believed in the director’s expertise, "Many things may not be as perfect
as how we imagine, but everybody has done his best."
