A Pink Launches Showcase in Japan and Announces Official Debut Date

A Pink held its first showcase in Japan and announced its upcoming Japan debut date.

On August 4, A Pink launched a debut showcase in Siganawa Stellar Ball in Tokyo and announced, “We will be officially debuting in Japan on October 22. We will be releasing our debut single No No No through Universal Music that day.”

A Pink’s Nam Joo said, “We would like to spread the name of A Pink through No No No, which all of us really like. This song is especially easy to sing along, so once it’s released, I encourage you to sing along.”

During the showcase, A Pink performed its hits No No No, My My, Mr. Chu and more to 2,000 fans who were invited after going through a 26:1 competition.

The Japanese media also showed keen interest in A Pink. The showcase event gathered over 140 media outlets and 400 reporters, including those from Fuji TV, Tokyo Sports Newspaper, advertising company Dentsu and more.

A Cube Entertainment stated, “Japan has been showing an encouraging response to A Pink’s upcoming promotional activities in the country. We’ve been getting a flood of love calls from various affiliates. Please anticipate whether A Pink, which has established its image as an innocent and pure idol group in Korea, will be able to imprint its unique charms in Japan as well.”

Meanwhile, A Pink has mobilized fan club ‘Panda Japan’ prior to its official activities, with more than 4,000 members joining so far.
