On Saturday, Taiwanese actress-model Hannah Quinlivan, who was born
to an Australian father and a Korean-Taiwanese mother, shared a picture
of her with her mum on Weibo.
The picture quickly caught the eye of a few sharp-eyed netizens, who realised that Hannah’s mother’s youthful looks and hairstyle bore an uncanny resemblance to Malaysian singer-songwriter Gary Chaw’s daughter, Grace.

The
picture of the mother-daughter duo was also accompanied by a caption
where the 22-year-old lamented how time had passed so quickly.
“When
I was younger, I always wanted to quickly grow up, but now [that I’ve
grown up], I wish for time to freeze instead, for you to never grow old,
so that we’ll always look like we’re sisters,” Hannah wrote.
In
the picture, the duo were dressed in simple black dresses, with Hannah
sporting a simple ponytail, while Hannah’s mother had straight black
hair and bangs.
