Directors Leung Longmond and Sunny Luk showed up at Cold War 2's grand
premiere with major cast members, Aaron Kwok, Tony Leung (Ka Fei), Chow
Yunfat, Charlie Young, Janice Man, Eddie Peng, Aarif Lee, Tony Yang,
Bibi Zhou, Fan Zhibo, Chang Kuochu in attendance. Popular mascot Huba of
Monster Hunt also made a surprise appearance and presented the actors
with a banner to wish them a good showing at the box office this summer.
In the thrilling sequel, police team captain Sean K.F. Lau (played by Aaron Kwok) recruited more helpers to compete with Lee M.B. (played by Tony) and face the attack of Oswald (played by Yunfat) from the Legislative Council. Directors Leung and Luk revealed that all the mysteries in the first movie would be solved one by one in the sequel, though the entire Hong Kong would be overshadowed by a great power struggle conspiracy.
