Taiwanese actress-model Shu Qi has been in showbiz for close to 20
years, and her increasingly packed schedule is taking a toll on her body
and has led to a weakened immune system.
Last year, the 41-year-old appeared in two movies, The Assassin and The Last Woman Standing and she is currently a mentor in the Chinese boyband survival show, X-Fire.

In
a video posted on her Instagram account yesterday, the actress was seen
undergoing a blood test, looking slightly worn out, though she retained
her cheeky personality and batted her eyelids jokingly at the camera a
few times.
After leaving the doctor’s room, she revealed that her
immune system had acted up, though she was still waiting for the results
of her blood test to come back, so she could understand what had
happened.
Shu Qi also added that the doctor had advised her to get
more rest. However, she replied that she had “no way to rest” as her
schedule was too packed, causing her fans to comment in worry.
In an attempt to get Shu Qi to prioritise her health over work, fans commented, “You’ll need a healthy body before you can work properly.”
