Donnie Yen looks forward to working with Andy Lau

Ambassador Donnie Yen and sponsor Cathy Chui showed up together at the press conference for "Save the Children Hong Kong". A film of Donnie visiting the children and receiving a drawing in Guangzhou was shown at the presser.

Born in Guangzhou, he said he felt close to the place and was deeply touched by those innocent kids. Donnie said, "The little girl gave me the drawing and would not let go of my hands. I was moved to tears at that moment." He hoped that someday, he’d be able to visit again with his own children, with whom he had shared his story and cherished the time together.

He had just returned from working with director Wong Jing in Thailand. Donnie said, "Jing is very sincere. He flew to Toronto for me and said he’d make a movie very unlike his usual style. I said, ‘How could Wong Jing make an un-Wong Jing movie?’" He revealed that there was no fighting in the movie but still the filming process was hard, and he looked forward to collaborating with Andy Lau.
