Lee Hom halts work to support pregnant wife in her last trimester

Following the footsteps of Mark Zuckerberg, who went on a two-month paternity leave to help his wife, Priscilla Chan, with parenting duties after his firstborn was born last year, multi-hyphenate Lee Hom announced that he’d be temporarily stopping work to spend time with his pregnant wife and daughter.

On his official Facebook page, Lee Hom wrote: “Two months paternity leave is actually an idea I got from my friend Mark Zuckerberg.

“If someone that busy can do it, why can't I? Studies show it's good for building strong family interaction, decreasing postpartum depression and...having (sic) been through it once before guys, my two cents is, it's just an awesome time to bond.”

It looks like the second-time father-to-be is enjoying his time off work too. Lee Hom’s pregnant wife Lee Jinglei shared photos of their tiny family unit enjoying an afternoon at the pool, including several pictures of their 2-year-old toddler, Wang Jiali, having fun in the pool with her dad.

The couple announced Jinglei’s second pregnancy in February this year and she is believed to be due end-2016.
