After accidentally revealing ultrasound snaps of her unborn baby and confirming that she’s expecting a baby boy yesterday (Nov 21), Ella finds herself on the headlines again for a family picture posted by her husband, Alvin Lai.
In said picture, the both of them are seen lying on their bed with their beloved pet pooch, Pudding, who was sound asleep on their bed. Netizens were appalled to see the estimated four-month pregnant singer sharing a bed with her pet dog and left comments such as “You’re pregnant, stay away from dogs” and “A good mother would not share a bed with their pet”.
Fans of the 35-year-old jumped to Ella’s defence, explaining that sharing a bed is not a problem as long as Pudding’s hygiene is maintained.
“There’s no need to abandon one family member just because of another,” read another fan’s comment.
Ella and her husband once joked that they had trouble conceiving as Pudding has the habit of sleeping with them.
