Hannah Quinlivan refuses to disclose daughter’s Chinese name

Taiwanese model-actress Hannah Quinlivan and husband, Taiwanese singer Jay Chou welcomed the newest addition to their family this July and have since only disclosed that the baby girl’s name is Hathaway. The protective parents are also very careful not to reveal Hathaway’s face on social media, with a partial portrait being the most they have shared, making Hathaway one of the most elusive celebrity babies.

Hannah was recently asked during the recording of children’s talent show, Fantastic Baby, if they have thought of Hathaway’s Chinese name. She then admitted that they have already picked a Chinese name for Hathaway and just as everyone thought that she was about to reveal it, she put her finger to her lips, refusing to disclose it.

The 23 year-old, who is currently filming an upcoming Hollywood movie, Smart Chase: Fire and Earth, then explained that she wishes to give her daughter a little privacy of her own, and that she was “thankful for everyone’s love for Little Chou, but we want to give her some privacy, knowing just her English name is fine!”

Jay and Hannah tied the knot on the multi-hyphenate’s 36th birthday (Jan 18) in a grand fairytale wedding held at Selby Abby in England and welcomed their first child in July the same year.
