Shu Qi on becoming a mother: Heaven will decide

Taiwanese actress Shu Qi have recently gained media attention due to rumours of her being pregnant after her flash marriage with Hong Kong director Stephen Fung this September.

Shu Qi opened up about her life after marriage for the first time in an interview yesterday during an event and said that the both of them still enjoy time alone to themselves, she also felt that there was not much of a change in their lives even after they have gotten married.

When asked if the priorities in her life have changed after getting married, she said that she still prioritises her two pet cats above herself, with no mention of Stephen.

The 40 year-old also spoke about the vacation to Japan that she went on with good friends and fellow Taiwanese actress Ruby Lin, and Kelly Lin, where the three girls wished to have babies and she shared that “We debated on who will receive Heaven’s present, but it’s good if she (Kelly) gets it, it’s also good if I get it!”

In other related news, Ruby, who is currently six months pregnant, posted a picture on Facebook earlier this week, revealing her rarely exposed baby bump, only to delete it shortly after. Ruby have since responded that she chose to delete it to “protect my round little belly, nothing else”.

It was said that Ruby deleted the picture to ‘protect’ the baby from being attacked by fans of her husband, Wallace Huo. Ruby have since re-uploaded the picture as a collage.
