Jay and Orlando got acquainted to each other through the former’s regular visits to the set of movie Smart Chase: Fire and Earth, which stars his wife Hannah, Orlando, Jing Tian and Leo Wu, and it was a matter of time before the celebrity couple scored an invitation to Orlando’s girlfriend, Hollywood singer Katy Perry’s Halloween party.
After years of wowing fans with her creative Halloween costumes which included a life-sized microphone and a ‘Hot Cheeto’, the ‘California Gurls’ singer didn’t disappoint with her Halloween plans this year when she threw a huge party with a 1950s American high school theme.
The party hostess came dressed as the principal of ‘Hudson High’, with Orlando as a basketball coach complete with a blonde wig and a tight pair of old school gym shorts. Jay Chou attended the party dressed as his character, Wax, from his 2013 movie The Rooftop, spotting a black greaser jacket paired with blue jeans and Hannah was decked in a retro cobalt blue polka-dotted dress.
Hannah also shared a photo of them from the ‘detention room’ of the party on her Weibo and observant netizens started pointing out that Jay’s hand was strategically placed over Hannah’s chest, to cover her cleavage. Fans believe that Jay, who forbids his wife from filming intimate scenes with the opposite sex, did it on purpose.
Katy’s party also saw attendees such as Hollywood actresses Kate Hudson and Cara Delevigne, who was surprisingly, not at Taylor Swift’s Halloween party.
