Cathy Tsui books ferris wheel for son’s 100th-day celebration

Former Hong Kong actress Cathy Tsui will be hosting the 100th-day celebration for her newborn son, Preston (Kin Hei), on January 15 and 16 at the Hong Kong Observation Wheel in Central.

The location would offer guests views of Victoria Harbour and the International Finance Centre, and the entire occasion is expected to cost tens of millions in Hong Kong dollars.

According to sources, this party is much grander than those held for Cathy’s other children, Leanna, Triston and Hayley, who had their celebrations at the Four Seasons Hotel in Central.

Cathy reportedly said Preston would be her last child, so much effort was put into the newborn’s 100th-day party.

Guests on the first night will include noted politicians and businesspeople, while those on the second night will be friends of Cathy and her husband and schoolmates of their three older children and their parents.

Cathy and her husband, Martin Lee, asked that guests make donations to charity instead of bringing gifts.

The former actress married in 2006 the younger son of Lee Shau Kee, Hong Kong’s richest man after Li Ka-shing. She gave birth to Preston in early October last year.
