SM Entertainment has released a statement regarding recent rumors of Girls′ Generation′s Taeyeon making a comeback.
SM stated to Newsen on January 14, "Taeyeon is constantly working on music," however, the agency added, "With regards to the comeback rumors, nothing detailed has been decided." Earlier today, one media outlet reported that Taeyeon was releasing a digital single sometime in February, sparking the interest of fans.
Meanwhile, Taeyeon released her first mini album I on October 7 last year, becoming the first Girls′ Generation member to go solo.
Taeyeon has already received recognition as a vocalist, earning the titles ′Best idol vocalist,′ ′OST queen′ and ′Powerful emotional vocalist,′ and her solo debut proved to be a huge success.
Taeyeon topped various digital music and album charts as well as music programs and held her first solo concert at the SMTOWN Theatre in Seoul′s COEX from October 23-25 and October 29 to November 1.
