Madonna to perform in Singapore for the first time


The pop queen will perform at the Singapore National Stadium on Feb 28

Madonna is finally bringing her Rebel Heart Tour 2016 to Singapore.

In a Facebook post on Tuesday (Jan 5), local coordinators Mediacorp VizPro announced that Madonna's latest tour will be held at the Singapore National Stadium. VizPro later confirmed this morning (Jan 6) that the concert will be held on Sunday, Feb 28 at 8pm.

The Rebel Heart Tour kicked off on Sep 9 last year and has garnered rave reviews from audiences and critics worldwide. Fans can look forward to live performances of both fresh releases from the iconic pop queen's latest album Rebel Heart and classic favourites such as 'Material Girl' and 'Holiday' during the highly anticipated showcase.

Tickets, priced from S$108 to S$1288 (for a VIP package) go on sale at 10am on Tuesday, Jan 12. Lifetime Legacy members of Madonna's official fan club Icon will receive first dibs on passes and VIP packages from Jan 7 at 10am to Jan 8 at 5pm. Citi and OCBC card members will also have access to pre-sales on Jan 9 and Jan 11 respectively.

The concert is rated R18 for "Sexual References" and only those above 18 years of age will be allowed to enter the venue.

The concert will be produced by Live Nation Global Touring in association with East West Best.
