Khloé Kardashian believes pictures 'never' show the truth

The 32-year-old television personality has admitted she is annoyed by the "double standard" and by people who misinterpreted a photograph of her alongside Trey Songz on Monday (27.06.16) and instantly assumed she was in a relationship.

Speaking on her website khloewithak.com, which has subsequently been reported on E! News website, the 'Kocktails with Khloé' host said: "The most annoying thing about tabloid rumours is the double standard. If I'm 'spotted' hanging with a guy at a party--even if I'm just saying hi for a quick second -- it immediately becomes a negative headline about how many guys I'm dating or how I'm getting into a new relationship. Men don't get that reputation!

"They get a pat on the back.

"People have taken pictures of me and say they're proof of something concrete. Pictures are just moments in time. They never show the whole truth.

"In Hollywood, you could go out on a first date and it could spiral into this huge thing. The headline the next day is 'Khloé's Getting Married!' LOL. It's so weird. That stuff definitely makes it difficult to take it slow and see how things go."

And the 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star has admitted the untruths have led her to "avoid" going on dates in public with potential suitors to avoid the prying eyes, allegations, and in fear of scaring her potential beau away.

She explained: "I normally don't comment on those stories, but if it gets out of control, I'll speak up--especially because that kind of gossip affects how people see me. A guy could assume I'm dating someone and not approach me, when I'm actually single.

"Sometimes I completely avoid going out in public with a new guy because I don't want to deal with the sexist headlines.

"That's too much drama for me!"

“Three”: Louis Koo’s Painful Slap Gave Vicki Zhao a Blood Blister

Three <三人行>, Johnnie To’s (杜琪峯) 20th anniversary film for his production studio Milkyway Image, opened to positive reception in Mainland China on June 24th. Directed by To with a screenplay by Yau Nai-hoi (游乃海), Three stars Vicki Zhao (趙薇),Louis Koo (古天樂), and Wallace Chung (鍾漢良) in the lead.

The movie centers on wanted criminal Cheung Lai-shun (Wallace) who, after realizing he is outnumbered, shoots himself in the head so the police would have no choice but to take him to the hospital. There, Lai-shun attempts to prolong his treatment so he can buy time for his gang to rescue him. Meanwhile, in order to hide his mistakes from the failed capture, Inspector Chan Wai-lok (Louis) threatens the criminal’s brain surgeon Tung Sin (Vicki) to kill Lai-shun during an operation.

Three, which was shot between March and July of last year, has been one of Vicki’s more challenging projects. Not only did she have to get used to Johnnie To’s preference of rewriting scripts on the spot, she also had to endure a few painful slaps on the face by her costar, Louis.

The aforementioned scene centers on Vicki’s role Dr. Tung Sin, who refuses to kill her patient as instructed by Louis’ role, Inspector Chan Wai-lok. Louis then slaps Vicki a few times on the face in anger. They re-acted the scene five more times to get different camera angles.

Vicki said Louis slapped her so hard her face started to swell. She had put ice on her cheeks in between takes to prevent it from swelling further. “I definitely lost feeling on my face for a while,” said Vicki. “Movies need to provide realism, and if Louis faked his slaps, I wouldn’t be able to give him a real reaction. I seriously worked hard in allowing him to slap me,” she joked.

The Chinese actress didn’t know about the slapping scene until the day of filming. Though worried, she managed to do the first few takes without much trouble. Vicki said she would have taken in more slaps if Louis didn’t stop about five takes in.

“Louis suddenly shouted ‘Stop filming!’ and told me that I had a blood blister in the corner of my eye. I freaked out and immediately asked someone to give me a mirror. The director saw it and postponed the shooting to tomorrow.”

The trauma on Vicki’s face punctured some of the tissues around her eye, leading to a 5mm blood blister. Vicki immediately went to the hospital to get it checked. Fortunately, it wasn’t a serious injury at all, and she went back to the studios the next day.

“I jokingly told the writer that I should also slap Louis for a revenge. When I got my script the next day, that scene was added in! I can’t believe I finally got to slap Louis! What an excellent script, haha!”

But Vicki said she really has no right to complain about Louis’ slaps, as Louis had to do much more pain-inducing stunts than her.

“We all just want to make a good movie. Actors are not supposed to have it easy. Louis had to do a scene where he was to jump down from a rope three stories up. It was really high up and Louis had to do it over twenty times. My heart really ached for him. The kind of pain he had to go through is indescribable. Though he was also on the verge collapsing, he made it through. A slap in the face is nothing compared to that.”

Three opens in Hong Kong on July 14, 2016. It also stars Michael Tse (謝天華), Lo Hoi-pang (盧海鵬), Raymond Wong (黃浩然), Lam Suet (林雪), and Timmy Hung (洪天明).

Fifth alleged victim comes clean about Park Yoochun’s sexual assault accusations

JYJ’s Park Yoochun was recently accused of sexual assault, with multiple women stepping out to accuse the singer-actor. While investigations are still on-going for this case, a fifth woman has recently accused Yoochun of attempting to sexually assault her as well.

According to the testimonies from the prior victims, Yoochun had forced them into the toilets of various entertainment establishments and sexually assaulted them; all cases took place between 2014 to 2016.

While the original accuser has already withdrawn her case, the authorities have indicated that Yoochun will still be investigated and prosecuted if her claims are true. More staff members have been added into the task force to investigate the case.

Yesterday, a woman known as Miss E revealed that she had narrowly escaped getting sexually assaulted by Yoochun in the past.

Miss E shared that she was working at a room salon which Yoochun patronised when the incident happened. She claimed that the 30-year-old had called her to the toilet and attempted to sexually assault her, only releasing her when she struggled violently.

She also revealed that she had not reported it to the police as no-one would believe the words of someone who worked in such entertainment establishments, saying, “Does it mean that once I report it to the police, everything will resolve itself? Wouldn’t everyone curse me to death? No-one will believe that a woman working in a room salon had been sexually assaulted…”

Additionally, members of the Korean media have also managed to interview other workers at the room salon Yoochun went to, where it was found that Yoochun “really liked” music and hip-hop, and often spent extravagantly on liquor.

The workers also admitted that they had seen Yoochun entering the bathroom with Miss E, confessing that “when Yoochun’s friends saw him going into the bathroom, they all started laughing. It was as if they knew what was going to happen inside”.

Jennifer Tse reveals more details about Patrick Tse’s accident

Hong Kong actress-model, Jennifer Tse made an appearance at an event yesterday, where she was asked about her father, Taiwanese actor Patrick Tse’s condition, after he was involved in a 5-car accident earlier this month.

The 33-year-old shared that the actor has not fully recovered from his injuries, though she did arrange for Patrick to get a massage every night for physiotherapy.

Additionally, Jennifer also shared that Patrick had sent her a picture of his injuries after the accident, revealing that his injuries were actually pretty serious.

“I saw that there was a chunk of flesh missing from his hand, and that his ribcage had cracked slightly. The first time he called me, he only told me that he had knocked into a car, however, the pictures showed that the car’s windshield has shattered completely! He still joked that he was quite lucky as they were currently filming a scene at a hospital, so he was able to visit the doctor immediately,” she recalled.

Moses Chan Doesn’t Want to be Onscreen Partners with Aimee Chan

Moses Chan (陳豪) opened up about his children at a recent charity event, sharing tidbits of his family life behind the camera. The 45-year-old actor said he would usually spend his free time at home with the kids, playing building blocks with his two sons.

“They’re very artistic, creative, and quite naughty too. I want to them to know how to rebuild,” said Moses with a smile. Moses’ two sons, Aiden and Nathan, respectively 2 and 1.

In regards to charity, Moses said he and his wife Aimee Chan (陳茵媺) have sponsored three children over the years. Moses and Aimee often share their letters to their own kids. Moses said he plans to participate in more charity organizations under his kids’ names.

“We want to instill charitable values on our kids,” said Moses. “We’ve also taught them the importance of sharing. It’s common for kids to fight for toys, but it’s always happier playing with someone than playing alone.”

Moses and Aimee’s only daughter, Camilla, was born in April 2016. Asking if Aiden and Nathan would fight for a chance to play with the two-month-old, Moses said, “They do, but their sister is only two months old so she’s always confused at what’s going on. But the three of them play together all the time.”

Asking if the couple would pursue a fourth child, Moses immediately said, “No! Is three not enough?”

When it comes parenting, Moses admitted that there would be times when he and Aimee would have disagreements, but they’ve never fought over them, emphasizing that it’s important to have a clear mind when solving problems. Asking if Moses would describe himself as a “monster parent”, he said in a serious manner, “We’re talking about how to teach children right now. Both parents need to be on the same boat. I am definitely not a monster parent. All fathers and mothers would want to give the best things to their kids, but we cannot spoil them.”

Though currently still on a hiatus, Aimee promised fans that she would make a comeback. Moses clarified, “Acting has always been my wife’s dream.” Asking if he would like to act as a couple with Aimee on screen, Moses said, “As husband and wife, we will always support each other no matter what. I don’t mind teaming up with Aimee for endorsements or events, but not acting. I don’t think the audience would like to see it anyway.” (They do!) “It’s not creative enough.” (What about reality TV?) “We’ll think about that one.”

Beyoncé didn't like her wedding dress

The 62-year-old mother Tina Knowles - who designed the 'Lemonade' hitmaker's gown for the marital ceremony in August 2008 - has admitted her 34-year-old daughter has hinted she wasn't a fan of her strapless ensemble with the ruffled train, and doesn't want her mother to make her four-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter's wedding attire in the future.

Speaking about her creation on 'Today' show, which has since been reported on US Weekly website, Tina said: "She was so sweet to let me do that.

"She [Beyoncé] came back later one day and she said, 'You know, when my daughter gets married, I'm going to let her pick out her own dress'. Maybe she wasn't so excited about it at the time, but she's a sweetheart."

Despite her distaste towards her mother's creation Beyoncé - who received the Fashion Icon gong at this year's CFDA Awards - praised her parent for the creative masterpieces she made for her and the Destiny's Child band members.

Speaking previously, the mother of one said: "When we were starting out in Destiny's Child, high-end labels, they didn't really want to dress four black, country, curvy, girls.

"We couldn't afford designer dresses and couture. My mother was rejected from every showroom in New York but like my grandmother, she used her talent and her creativity and to give her children their dreams."

Beyoncé explained that her first costumes were made by her mother Tina and her uncle Johnny, because high-end labels were not interested in working with Destiny's Child, who went on to become a chart-topping band.

She shared: "My mother actually designed my wedding dress, my prom dress, my first CFDA Award dress, my first Grammy dress. And the list goes on and on. This to me is the true power and potential of fashion. It's a tool for finding your own identity, expression, truth. It transcends style, and is a time capsule for all of our greatest milestones."

5 things we loved about B.A.P’s return to Singapore

Korean boyband B.A.P made their long anticipated return to our sunny shores after a two year absence for their B.A.P LIVE ON EARTH 2016 WORLD TOUR SINGAPORE AWAKE!! concert tour and they definitely did not disappoint.

The sextet kicked off the concert with their debut track 'Warrior', before segueing into 'What The Hell' and 'No Mercy', as BABYz (the official name for the group’s fans) cheered to welcome their return.

As member Daehyun turns 22 today, fans also made sure to celebrate his birthday by preparing banners to raise up during his solo stage, even singing him a birthday song twice.

Surprisingly, the concert setlist was devoid of ballads, save for members Daehyun and Jongup's solo tracks and their encore song, 'With You', which fans eagerly lapped up all the same.

Now, without further ado, here are five other things that we enjoyed at B.A.P’s concert yesterday.

Selena Li Affected by Brexit, Will Work Harder in Career to Recover

The past few weeks haven’t been very kind to Selena Li (李施嬅). Not only is the media pitting her against Sisley Choi (蔡思貝) due to the “female lead crisis” rumor, but Selena also suffered a pretty big blow from Brexit—the British exit from the European Union.

In an off-stage interview to promote Presumed Accidents <純熟意外> last weekend, Selena was bombarded with questions about the gossip surrounding her and Sisley Choi, which claimed that the two of them couldn’t get along due to Sisley snagging the female lead role away from Selena, her senior of ten years.

Selena said she was upset—but not because of her rumor with Sisley. After the Brexit decision, the British pound sterling crashed to its lowest level in over 30 years, and Selena, who had invested a six-figure sum on UK stocks, lost a lot of money.

“I had purchased some British stocks and blue chips,” shared Selena. “I’ve always been careful in my investments, but I wasn’t expecting this to happen. The stocks are dropping rapidly. Right now, my only hope is to move ahead in my career. I also purchased an off-plan property in Canada, but the Canadian dollar is falling as well. Investing has been quite strenuous for me.”

After the TVB event, Selena said she and a few of her friends will donate blood, hoping to bring some positive energy back in.

To prevent the “female lead crisis” to happen again, Selena was asked if she would be more selective in her drama offers. She said, “Many people like to think that I don’t care about filming dramas and that I just want to enjoy life, but that’s not true. Since my debut, I’ve never turned down a single drama. I hope I’ll get more opportunities in the future.” She added that she is currently in discussions for another upcoming TVB drama.

“Actors are very passive. If the company offers us a drama, we usually do not turn it down,” she clarified.

Selina Jen’s chance encounter with her ex-husband

Two months after Taiwanese girlgroup S.H.E member Selina Jen first announced her divorce with her former husband, lawyer Richard Chang, the duo crossed paths at an event marking the first anniversary of the Formosa Water Park explosion.

Selina, who previously suffered severe burns on 60 percent of her body due to a filming accident, has previously spoken out to encourage the survivors, while Richard is the chairman of the Sunshine Social Welfare Foundation, which helped to organise the event.

This year, Selina was invited as a special guest to share her experience and how she managed to rebuild her life after the accident.

During her speech, Richard was spotted amongst the audience, and it was later revealed that he was invited to the event as a special guest as well. He also shared that the main event organiser had told him beforehand that a certain “Queen of Burn Victims” would be attending the event as well, alluding that Selina would be present.

However, Richard had replied that he knew, and that he had “greeted” her beforehand. In an attempt to avoid the media present, Richard stood at the back of the hall to listen to the speeches from Selina, the burn survivors, and their family.

Michelle Chen and Chen Xiao Will Have Three Weddings?

The next few weeks will be big for Michelle Chen (陈妍希) and Chen Xiao (陈曉). The couple, who are expected to officially tie the knot this July, will reportedly have three different weddings in Beijing, Taiwan, and Anhui.

At a Beijing press conference for her latest television drama City Still Believes in Love <北上广依然相信爱情>, Michelle’s costar Zhu Yawan (朱亚文) leaked to the press that Michelle plans to have her wedding in Beijing, Taiwan, and Anhui.

Earlier, it was reported that Michelle and Chen Xiao will have two weddings—one held in Beijing on July 19th, and a second one held in Michelle’s hometown, Taipei, on July 21st.

“[I hope] Chen Xiao will treat her well! Have kids earlier so you can come back sooner!” Yawen joked.

In regards to this, Michelle merely smiled and said, “Thank you everyone.”

In the television drama, Michelle plays Huang Yiran, a wedding planner. Michelle said she has researched a lot about the field prior to shooting the series, and expressed that she has learned a lot through filming. Maybe she’ll be using her newfound knowledge for her own upcoming wedding!

Gallen Lo, Adia Chan Make Charity Appearance Together

TVB legends Gallen Lo (羅嘉良) and Adia Chan (陳松伶) did some special singing performances for the charity event, Carita’s Charity Show < 明愛暖萬心>, a few nights ago. Gallen performed “Qin Shi Huang” <秦始皇> with the NewTune Chinese Orchestra, while Adia performed “Sad No More” <莫再悲>, “Compassion of Parents” <父母恩> and “Blessing” <祝福>.

In a backstage interview, Gallen revealed that he had returned to Beijing after completing the shooting of his latest TVB drama, The Conspirators <與諜同謀>. However, he only stayed in Beijing for a week, as he had to return to Hong Kong to film a web series with Him Law <羅仲謙>. The drama is a very loose adaptation of the 2002 film Infernal Affairs <無間道>, with Gallen starring as the main villain.

The 53-year-old actor said production for Infernal Affairs started over ten days ago. He made it clear that, while web series uses the plot of Infernal Affairs as its blueprint, the two productions are entirely different.

When speaking about his daughter in Beijing, Gallen said, “She does miss me, but she would also tell me to enjoy filming. I will be a guest performer at Jimmy Lo’s (盧國沾) upcoming concert, and my wife and daughter plan to come to Hong Kong to support me.”

Adia, on the other hand, shared that production for her TVB drama Full-Time Nowhere Woman <全職沒女> still has one week left. She stars in the comedy drama with Eddie Cheung (張兆輝).

The 45-year-old said she’s already missing the cast, and will cherish the memories she had with them. “I hope we’ll have more opportunities to meet up in the future!”

After completing Nowhere Woman, Adia will continue to travel around Mainland China to do mini stage performances, as well as star in reality TV programs. When speaking about her TV appearance with Gallen, who she hasn’t collaborated in a drama with since 1996’s Cold Blood Warm Heart <天地男兒>, Adia said, “If I knew he’d be here, I would have definitely asked to sing a duet with him!”

Julianne Moore: Life is all about change

The Oscar-winning actress lived in 18 places during her childhood and has, from a very early age, always accepted that life is about change and overcoming uncertainties.

She explained: "When I was younger, I think I had a sense of direction, but I don't know that I ever had a plan. We moved so much that I never knew where I was going to be. People said, 'See you next summer' and I'd be, like, 'I don't know...'

"It was always interesting to me that people did have a plan in their lives. I mean, I try to structure my life in some ways: I'll make yoga appointments and arrange to see people for lunch.

"But if they say, 'Hey, there's this thing in August...' I have no idea where I'm going to be. So I tend to make short-term plans. And I'm aware that, no matter what you think, they often have to change. The only constant in life is change."

Julianne has Scottish roots and in 2011, took up dual citizenship. The actress partially decided to do it in recognition of her mother, who died seven years ago - although she admitted there are some practical benefits to having a British passport, too.

The American-born actress told the Mail on Sunday newspaper: "I have a British passport and I use it to get into London. I wave that sucker [her passport] and get right in!"

She also said that her new-found status led to a memorably humorous exchange with a fellow passenger.

Julianna recalled: "I love this - it was the very first time I came to London with my British passport. I was standing in the line at immigration and someone said [she adopts a posh English accent], 'Darling, you're in the wrong queue.' And I went, 'No, I'm not!'"

GOT7’s Jackson wants to live in Singapore

It’s 7pm on a Thursday night, and City Square Mall seems to have erupted in screams. Korean boyband GOT7, who last visited our shores less than six months ago, is back for their first solo concert and open press conference in Singapore, and IGOT7s (name of their official fanclub) were out in full force to show their support.

The resounding yells and chants of GOT7 and the names of the seven members who make up the group – Mark, 22, JB, 22, Jackson, 22, Junior, 21, Youngjae, 19, BamBam 19, and Yugyeom, 18, did not cease throughout the 30 minute press conference, at times overwhelming the group’s voices.

However, despite everything, the group’s love for their fans and Singapore were evident.

When asked about their thoughts on finally being able to hold their first solo concert in Singapore, Youngjae revealed that he was “very happy” to be able to have GOT7’s first solo concert in Singapore, and that he hoped to be able to visit Singapore more often next time.

BamBam then declared, “I want to vacation here next time,” seemingly enamoured by the charms of Singapore, with Jackson immediately adding that he “want[s] to live in Singapore”.

Judging from the delighted squeals from the crowd, we’d say that the members of GOT7 are more than welcome to visit again.

Synopsis of TVB’s Ghost Comedy “House of Spirits”

Synopsis of TVB’s Ghost Comedy “House of Spirits”

Paying homage to TVB’s past ghost comedies, the new supernatural comedy House of Spirits <一屋老友記> will be gliding into Hong Kong TV screens on Monday, June 27th.

The 31-episode drama is inspired by the 1980 TVB ghost comedy Don’t Look Now <執到寶>, a hilarious comedy about an elderly, retired fireman and his row with four ghosts who enjoy possessing his family members to communicate with him.

Synopsis

Retired dim sum sifu Bo Luk (Lau Kong 劉江) suddenly passes away. He leaves behind a will, and names his eldest son Bo Foon (Bobby Au-yeung 歐陽震華) as the executor. As instructed on Bo Luk’s will, Bo Foon gets his three younger siblings to come back to the main house, where they are to live together for nine months before offering the property up for sale.

Second daughter Bo Yan (Joyce Tang 滕麗名) is an inconsiderate wife, and refuses to bring her Mainland Chinese husband Mui Chiu (Tsui Wing 徐榮) and their daughter back to Hong Kong with her. Third son Bo Yu (Jonathan Cheung 張穎康) and his wife Yu Fa (Koni Lui 呂慧儀), both stingy and profit-minded people, are more than happy to come back and take advantage of the house. Youngest son Bo Yi (Bob Cheung 張彥博), who is studying abroad, immediately returns to Hong Kong after hearing the distress call.

Amidst all the sibling conflict and rifts, Bo Foon discovers that he has the ability to see ghosts. He befriends Bak Wah (Bowie Wu 胡楓) and Yi Lan (Helena Law 羅蘭)—a pair of elderly, bickering ghosts who have been haunting the house for many years. The two elders often use their wit and powers to help Bo Foon solve his family drama, but their help is often hilariously futile.

Meanwhile, Bo Foon employs the help of hydropower technician Chu Chan-chan (Nancy Wu 胡定欣) to fix the house’s pipes. Bo Foon and Chan-chan struggle to get along, but their constant squabbling leads to an interesting fate.

Miriam and Louis had worked together in "Little Big Master" last year, but Miriam joked that she had not seen him in decades because he was always away from Hong Kong. Louis admitted that he was required to film somewhere else for several days per week. Talking about his healthy sun tan, Louis said he liked activities in the sun, and Miriam teased him, "You are still so dark as decades ago." When asked if they would cooperate again, Louis joked, "Maybe there will be a ‘Lesser Big Master’." Jihyo hoped to have more works and opportunities to meet her fans. She said, "I’m hoping for works other than ‘Running Man’, and I like to meet my fan in more activities like this." She had been rumored to have a romance with Bolin Chen in a reality show, and when asked about her criteria for a mate, she said, "I’d like to have someone who is considerate and manlike."

Is Ariel Lin pregnant?

Taiwanese singer-actress Ariel Lin’s schedule has been packed full with work commitments even after she got hitched two years ago to her longtime boyfriend, Charles Lin.

As Charles is based in America, the couple have a hard time meeting up and Ariel often has to travel back and forth between two countries to spend time with her husband. With the couple spending bulk of their time apart, it is harder for the actress to get pregnant.

Despite the odds, rumour has it that the 33-year-old actress is expecting after she was spotted in a loose shirt and flats, during a dinner meal with her father-in-law. Charles’ dad was said to be in good spirits and could be seen talking animatedly with his body gestures, as if excited for his expecting daughter-in-law.

Additionally, Ariel, who exited the restaurant without a mask on, was seen with a slightly bloated face, and occasionally used her hands to cover her mouth while she waited for her father-in-law to finish smoking.

However, when Ariel’s manager was asked to comment on the rumours, the manager laughed and answered, “It’s impossible. Ariel still has a lot of schedules lined up in the months to come, and [the couple] has always taken the necessary precautions [to avoid getting pregnant].”

Dee Hsu: I’m like a wild horse

Taiwanese actress-host Dee Hsu will be reunited onstage with Taiwanese entertainer Mickey Huang this Saturday. The duo are expected to meet while hosting the Golden Melody Awards, which will be held in Taipei, Taiwan.

The main host for the awards show will be Mickey, while Dee and her long-time hosting partner, Kevin Tsai will be the special presenters for two awards.

As Dee is known for being an outspoken and direct person, many are anticipating sparks to fly when the actress-host is reunited with Mickey onstage, especially after Dee reconciled with him last year.

In an interview with the media, Dee revealed that Kevin and her did not have anything specifically planned out for their segments, and that they will be playing it by ear.

The 38-year-old also likened herself to a “wild horse”, commenting that she herself didn’t know what she’ll do on that day as well.

She also revealed that she had contacted Kevin to discuss what to do for their segment, but the 54-year-old had not replied her yet, though she did have a back-up plan if things got too crazy.

“I’ll just immediately give the cue for a commercial break,” she laughed.

Grace Wong Opens Online Store

Since her runner-up win at the 2007 Miss Hong Kong Pageant, Grace Wong (王君馨) has participated in a variety of entertainment activities for TVB, ranging from acting, to singing, to hosting. She even dabbed into business, and this year, she invested a six-figure sum to open up an online store.

The 30-year-old Come With Me <性在有情> star recently released her own line of aroma jewelry, which she named Dearest Grace. The brand includes a variety of different necklaces, earrings, and bracelets that are inspired by her closest friends—Linda Chung (鍾嘉欣), Leanne Li (李亞男), Christine Kuo (苟芸慧), and Eliza Sam (岑麗香).

Grace, who studied business management in college, worked closely with accessory designer Bell for her Dearest Grace brand. They used copper as a base for their jewelry, and designed it in a way where various aromas can find inside a small pendant. Grace said they only worked on Dearest Grace for a month before publishing the series online. “We earned back all our investments and more after one month of release!” said Grace happily.

Dearest Grace’s Princess, Angel, Goddess, Queen, and Warrior lines are inspired by Grace’s close friends “Amazing Esther”, which consists of Linda, Leanne, Christine, and Eliza. Grace said, “They are my inspiration! Eliza represents Princess because she is sweet and cute. Christine is Queen, as she really gives you that impression of royalty and sophistication. Leanne really takes care of you, so she’s definitely Angel. Linda is very pretty so she is Goddess. As for myself, I am Warrior. I was never a goddess or a BB. I am a fighter.”

Asking if she would like to start another line for her boyfriend, Grace laughed and said her boyfriend is laid-back and does not like to wear too many accessories. How about opening a new business with her boyfriend, who is a business economics major? Grace said, “I don’t want to talk about work or business at home, that’s why I didn’t include in him my first few business transactions. If we get married some day, family would definitely come first for us.”

The first few business weren’t easy for Grace. She shared, “I chose to do accessories because I assumed the costs would be cheaper, but that wasn’t the case at all. There was a case where a customer developed skin allergies after wearing my accessories, so I immediately reimbursed them. It’s a good thing I’m getting good reviews from the public!” She added that starting an online store has certain benefits, such as being able to attract customers from all over the world. She revealed that many of her customers come from Malaysia, China, Singapore, and the United States.

Grace plans to organize a Pop Up Store to further promote her products. Her goal is to sell affordable accessories to the general public, saying, “I don’t have a goal in how much I want to sell. I just want people to feel happy, beautiful, and comfortable.”

Ankie Beilke Admits to New Relationship

Although German-Chinese model Ankie Beilke (貝安琪) was romantically linked with Ruco Chan (陳展鵬) while filming 2013’s Brother’s Keeper <巨輪>, the pair denied the rumors. However, the 35-year-old beauty recently admitted to being in a new relationship while attending an art gallery opening.

Ankie revealed that she has been dating someone outside of the entertainment industry for several months. After much prodding, Ankie shyly admitted that her boyfriend is the man pictured in her Instagram post on her birthday. When asked whether her mother has met him, she said, “She’s seen him. I have known him for a long time.” Despite knowing each other for a long time, Ankie stressed that they will take things slow and will not rush into marriage.

In recent social media posts, Ankie shared many beautiful vacation pictures. When asked whether she was vacationing with her boyfriend, Ankie said that she was actually in Thailand for work. “I went to Thailand to film a commercial to help promote tourism. I went for 12 days to Bangkok and Chiang Mai.” Expertly switching the subject, Ankie further went on to reveal that she made time to practice Muay Thai while there. She praised the Muay Thai fighters in Thailand as having good bodies. “I like muscles, so I got to look!” However, she said she is not interested in deliberately finding a boyfriend who practices Muay Thai.

Sistar Presents 4th Mini Album

In the showcase of the South Korean girls band Sistar’s 4th mini album, the 4 members presented the MV of its theme song "I Like That", in which Dasom Kim revealed her back to match the hot dance of her band mates. Hyojung Kim pointed out that the other song "Say I Love Your" was written by her, and she hoped that someday other singers would ask her to write for them. Soyou Kang said Hyojum had written it when thinking of all members and they had discussed it a lot during the recording this meaningful song. Soyou had recovered from her back injury and become healthier during the break. Bora Yoon said the hem dance part of the MV was very impressive because they had often tripped and fell when swaying their skirts. Dasom teased that she revealed her back because of her fair skin, and she even had a fals tattoo on her back for the MV.

The Steady Rise of Lai Lok-yi

Like many of the TVB idols that debuted in his generation, Lai Lok-yi (黎諾懿) had a promising start. The media compared his looks to the late Danny Chan (陳百強), and he received a notable amount of attention for starring in 2003’s Aqua Heroes <戀愛自由式> and Hearts of Fencing <當四葉草碰上劍尖時>, the latter as the lead male role. He was also put in a promotional group with Raymond Lam (林峯), Ron Ng (吳卓羲), Sammul Chan (陳鍵鋒), Bosco Wong (黃宗澤), and Kenneth Ma (馬國明), and together became the “Olympic Six Stars.”

However, unlike his Six Stars group mates, Lok-yi’s career failed to gain traction. While the other five went on to star in multiple successful dramas and became big stars in their own right, Lok-yi remained in TVB as a mere supporting actor.

But Lok-yi, a devout Buddhist, believes that every cause brings a consequence. He’s fine with having a slower start than his peers—in fact, he prefers it. He wants to enjoy life as it comes, and prefers to have a stable, comfortable, and worthwhile career.

“I may be walking slower than others, but I’ve excelled in having a stable, comfortable [career],” said Lok-yi. “There are certain things that cannot be rushed. I do not mind achieving fame until I turn fifty.”

Sees Wayne Lai As His Target

The 36-year-old actor played supporting for years before finally hitting big with the 2012 sitcom Come Home Love <愛·回家>, which ran for over 800 episodes in addition to a spin-off series that ran for 100 more. TVB’s current sitcom, Come Home Love: Dinner at 8 <愛·回家之八時入席>, is inspired by Come Home Love’s formula.

“I really like this role of John Ma myself,” said Lok-yi, who starred in Come Home Love alongside Lau Dan (劉丹) and Tsui Wing (徐榮). “But to play the same character for many years is not healthy for an actor. I want to be able to show my diverse abilities to the audience.”

Lok-yi currently stars in the suspense drama Presumed Accidents <純熟意外>, a series about a team of insurance claim investigators. Lok-yi plays Mantus Cheuk, a character that hovers between black and white. “I believe the audience will find the role refreshing to see,” he said.

When speaking about his slow but steady rise to fame compared to his Six Stars groupmates, Lok-yi expressed, “We all have different images. Raymond Lam is a prince, Ron Ng takes on a cool guy image, while Bosco Wong has a bit of a bad boy look. As for me… allow me to walk on a steady, unassuming road. I’ve definitely chosen the harder road to walk on, but I’m happy to do it. Male actors are blessed with longer careers in the industry. Just look at Wayne Lai (黎耀祥). We all knew he was a great actor, but he just needed that one opportunity to make it big. Chai Kau turned his career around.”

Lok-yi then added that he has no interest in taking an “idol” route to success. He does not want to rely on rumors to make him famous. “I want to be newsworthy for making good dramas and for making good roles, and not for being known as that guy getting caught with a random female celebrity.”

Wise Words from Sean Lau

Throughout his 13-year acting career, Lok-yi only had a rumors with a few female costars, most notably with Tavia Yeung (楊怡). It was assumed that they dated for a few years before Lok-yi started his relationship with former Miss Hong Kong contestant, Nicole Lee (李潔瑩). Lai-yi and Nicole dated for three years before tying the knot in 2014.

“After all these years, people should know that I’m not exactly the party type. My close friends are people like Ekin Cheng (鄭伊健) and Yoyo Mung (蒙嘉慧), and we’re the kind of people who don’t like going out at night. We like scuba diving, badminton, and wakeboarding. The public likes to think of me as someone who is a slacker and living a stress-free life, but I just don’t want rumors to affect my ways of life.”

Thanks to Ekin, Lok-yi came to know veteran actor Sean Lau (劉青雲). Lok-yi said Sean had helped through his difficult times. “He told me to what I need to do first before thinking about how to achieve anything else. In life, we have our high and low tides. It will not stay high all the time. When we’re at our lowest point, we should settle down and think. Reflect.”

In regards to what future roles Lok-yi wants to challenge, he expressed his interest in portraying a serial killer or a disabled person. “To be able to act in a character that is completely different from your own will lead to breakthroughs in your acting.”

Shu Qi falls ill due to busy schedule

Taiwanese actress-model Shu Qi has been in showbiz for close to 20 years, and her increasingly packed schedule is taking a toll on her body and has led to a weakened immune system.

Last year, the 41-year-old appeared in two movies, The Assassin and The Last Woman Standing and she is currently a mentor in the Chinese boyband survival show, X-Fire.

In a video posted on her Instagram account yesterday, the actress was seen undergoing a blood test, looking slightly worn out, though she retained her cheeky personality and batted her eyelids jokingly at the camera a few times.

After leaving the doctor’s room, she revealed that her immune system had acted up, though she was still waiting for the results of her blood test to come back, so she could understand what had happened.

Shu Qi also added that the doctor had advised her to get more rest. However, she replied that she had “no way to rest” as her schedule was too packed, causing her fans to comment in worry.

In an attempt to get Shu Qi to prioritise her health over work, fans commented, “You’ll need a healthy body before you can work properly.”

A source said: "Taylor said she thinks he is the one, as odd and new as it sounds... Taylor was hesitant to get involved so quickly after Adam. But she she felt that Adam was not giving her what she wanted for sometime so she was ready to move on towards the tail end of their relationship anyway."

The lovebirds enjoyed a public date night on Tuesday night (21.06.16) when they joined Taylor's best friend Abigail and her boyfriend Matt at Selena Gomez's concert in Nashville, Tennessee where they were spotted dancing along to the 23-year-old singer's hit track 'Same Old Love'.

The source added: "Taylor invited Tom to go. There was an immediate attraction.... she felt like she was a little school girl with a huge crush. The 26-year-old singer shocked fans across the world when she was spotted smooching Tom, 35, during a romantic walk on Misquamicut beach near her home in Watch Hill, Rhode Island.

Blake Lively reveals her body 'changed' after childbirth

Blake Lively's body "shifted and changed" after she was pregnant with her first child.

The 28-year-old beauty hired a personal trainer to get back into shape following the birth of 18-month-old daughter James Reynolds but admitted the exercise did more for than just help her shed the baby weight she'd gained.

She said: "I worked out with an amazing trainer Don Saladino. He kicked my butt. It was also eight months after having a baby so my body was already completely different than what it normally was. Not just aesthetically but also your muscles are different, your body, everything is just shifted and changed.

The former 'Gossip Girl' star was training for her forthcoming movie 'The Shallows' and though it was hard work and felt like she was preparing for a "marathon", she was glad to have a reason to get fit.

She told E! News: "It was really crazy. But it was also nice to have that motivation because I wouldn't have done that. I wouldn't have gotten in that kind of shape.

"It was like training for a marathon, but a marathon is one day. This was six weeks straight, six-day weeks, no lunch breaks, thirteen-hour days, four-foot waves at all times. By the time I was done with the movie...I had muscles that I had never had before."

Meanwhile Blake - who is married to 'Deadpool' star Ryan Reynolds and is expecting their second child - confessed she finds it "torturous" watching her husband's sex scenes.

She said: "It's kind of torture these days because I'm on a plane and every screen is my husband Ryan in a sex montage throughout the holidays with another woman because everyone wants to watch 'Deadpool' on the plane, everyone!

"But for like 14 hours having your husband having like mashed potatoes eaten out of his butthole - that's in the film - it's very, it's lovely. It's a cruel and unusual form of torture."

Ronnie Wood wants baby twins to live a normal lifestyle

Ronnie Wood doesn't want his baby twin daughters to live a "bling lifestyle".

The Rolling Stones rocker - whose wife Sally gave birth to their twin girls Gracie Jane and Alice Rose three weeks ago - doesn't want his girls growing up thinking that having nice things in life is "normal" and wants them to lead as ordinary a life as possible despite his showbiz status and wealth.
He said: "We just want our girls to be happy and healthy. We don't want them to live any sort of bling lifestyle."

And so the couple haven't gone all out on building a fancy nursery for their little girls and have even been handed down a second-hand cot from his son Jesse's little boy.

He said: "We haven't got a flash nursery all done up, we've got a room in the house. We've been given Rex's [Fearne and Jesse's three-year-old son] old cot now he's grown out of it and we want things for them to be as normal as they can possibly be."

One special gift they did have personalised for them was a baby carrier made out of guitar straps with "Ronnettes" on it.

Sally revealed: "I had a baby carrier specially designed for the twins made from guitar straps so I can hold the girls both at the same time. It's the right height and it's incredibly comfortable. It's got "Ronnettes" in studs on the back because Gracie and Alice are my Ronnettes. I love it."

And whilst they are thrilled with their new arrivals, the happy couple have no plans to have anymore kids.

Sally, 38, added: "We've got twins. We don't need to worry about having any other babies. We've got a family."

And the 69-year-old musician is glad to be surrounded by so many women and says his mum doesn't think he'd like it any other way because when he was born in 1947, seven other girls were delivered on the same hospital ward.

He told HELLO! magazine: "The day I was born, there me and seven other girls delivered on that day in the hospital. My mum always said afterwards I wouldn't ever be happy unless I had seven girls around me. Now I have three and with Dolly the dog that makes four and there's a few other great women in our lives so I'm very, very happy."

Park Yoochun And First Accuser Both Reveal Recordings Regarding Settlement

Following the submission of Park Yoochun’s counter suit against the first accuser in the sexual assault case — in which he claims that the woman, referred to here as Ms. Lee, approached his agency and demanded a settlement prior to filing a police complaint — the current focus of the case has become the settlement and the interaction between the woman and her boyfriend and C-JeS: who, in fact, approached whom about the settlement, and was it ever paid?

Both sides have come forward with recordings.

Park Yoochun’s side claims that Ms. Lee first approached the agency demanding 1 billion won (approximately $864,000). According to Channel A on June 21, CEO Baek Chang Ju of C-JeS submitted a recording of Ms. Lee’s boyfriend to the police as evidence. It has been revealed that the recording is of the boyfriend saying that Ms. Lee can no longer live in Korea because of rumors of what happened, and asking the agency to help her move to China.

In a phone call with Channel A, the boyfriend responded, “I simply put [my girlfriend] and Park Yoochun’s agency in touch as a favor for an acquaintance. I didn’t lie about what happened. I wasn’t involved in the lawsuit that [my girlfriend] filed, nor the withdrawal of it five days later.”

Ms. Lee also has a recording supporting her claims that C-JeS was the one to first offer a settlement, which was revealed by media. The recording is of a phone call that took place immediately after the [sexual assault] incident.

The C-JeS agency rep in the clip (played on SBS 8 O’Clock News) says, “We’ve thought a lot about what we can do appease you…”

In another clip: “I think it’s right for [C-JeS] to respond to [the price] that you give us.”

According to an acquaintance of Ms. Lee, who gave a statement on SBS 8 O’Clock News, C-JeS said that they wanted to make a settlement, and asked Ms. Lee to wait one day, continuously asking her to name a price. However, Ms. Lee claims that she did not receive any settlement from C-JeS, and that if she had, there would be a written record of it.

C-JeS has stated in response that they will simply reveal the truth through police investigation, and will not take any separate action via media.

Police have finished questioning Ms. Lee’s boyfriend and the C-JeS CEO, and will be tracking account transactions to determine if money was ever moved for the settlement. Questioning has also wrapped up for the four women who came forward with sexual assault complaints.

Tavia Yeung Attends Now TV Event, In Talks for “Heart of Greed 3”?

Tavia Yeung (楊怡), Jan Lamb (林海峰), Ronald Cheng (鄭中基), Gaile Lok (樂基兒), and more attended a press conference for the premium television channel Now TV on Sunday. The event, which was to promote a Now TV brand event, was Tavia’s first appearance for another Hong Kong television channel.

The 36-year-old actress left TVB in April, when she chose not to renew her management contract to become a free agent. Nonetheless, she has maintained a good relationship with TVB and will always be on the lookout for a suitable drama offer.

With Heart of Greed 3 <溏心風暴3> currently in pre-production, rumors say that Nancy Wu (胡杏兒) and Tavia Yeung are “fighting” to get cast on the show. Tavia said, “Why does the media always like to make it sound like this is some kind of palace drama? In the end, if there’s a suitable role, I will not rule out any kind collaboration. It does not necessarily have to be Heart of Greed, but any kind of production. In the end, if the script is right and the time is right, then I’ll be there. I am not worried about anything right now. I want to take care of my wedding first.”

At the event, Tavia played a game with football player Tse Tak-him (謝德謙), but she was teased for going soft on him. Tavia laughed and made a joke about her husband, Him Law (羅仲謙). “It’s true. I am biased to the people who are called ‘Him’!”

When speaking about her Chinese wedding arrangements, Tavia said, “I’m running out of ideas. It’s been taking most of my time.” (Has her husband contributed?) “He’s very busy now and has work, but we have all contributed ideas.”

Jaycee Chan set to make showbiz comeback via variety show

Hong Kong singer-actor Jaycee Chan is ready to make a showbiz comeback by guesting on a variety show set to air today.

The 33-year-old was first nabbed in China together with Taiwanese actor Kai Ko for marijuana-related offences back in 2014, and sentenced to jail. After they were charged in court, the duo were reportedly banned from Chinese broadcasts by the authorities.

Close to two years after their charge, Kai is currently filming for a new Chinese drama serial, after finally getting approval from the authorities.

Additionally, Jaycee is preparing for his new film and album as well, and is said to be making an appearance in the upcoming film, Railroad Tigers, which stars Jackie Chan. Now, Jaycee’s variety show appearance seems to be the final confirmation that the 33-year-old is gearing up for his big return.

The variety show’s speciality lies in a segment where celebrity guests have to run alongside the host, who will then grill them on their personal lives. When asked if he was a “Casanova”, Jaycee smiled and said, “When I flirt, I do it openly, and don’t attempt to hide anything. I had my first relationship at the age of 18. [However], when I told her that I loved her, she slapped me…”

The singer-actor also openly discussed the lull period he had experienced after his release from jail, revealing that he had spent “a lot of time with my mother, as I was afraid that she’d be worried for me, worried that I wouldn’t be used [to life after getting released].”
