Charlotte Rae has bone cancer

Charlotte Rae has been diagnosed with bone cancer.

The 91-year-old actress - who is best known for playing Edna Garrett in 'The Facts of Life' and 'Diff'rent Strokes' - revealed she had also previously secretly battled pancreatic cancer seven years ago.

She told People magazine: "Last Monday, I found out I have bone cancer. "About seven years ago, I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer - which is a miracle that they found it because usually it's too late. "My mother, sister and my uncle died of pancreatic cancer.

After six months of chemotherapy, I was cancer-free. I lost my hair, but I had beautiful wigs. Nobody even knew." The 'Pretty Little Liars' actress is currently weighing up her options but thinks she will accept a course of treatment to fight the disease.

She added: "So now, at the age of 91, I have to make up my mind. "I'm not in any pain right now. I'm feeling so terrific and so glad to be above ground. Now I have to figure out whether I want to go have treatment again to opt for life. I love life. I've had a wonderful one already. I have this decision to make. "I think I'm going to go for [treatment].

The side effects were not too bad when I did it originally. I've had a great life, but I have so many wonderful things happening. I'd like to choose life. I'm grateful for the life I've already had." Charlotte hopes her fans can learn to embrace every single day of their lives.

She said: "At 91, every day is a birthday. [In my book, 'The Facts of My Life'] I want to tell everybody to celebrate every day, to savour the day and be good to yourself, love yourself, and then you can be good to others and be of service to others."

We fact-checked the Madonna film script

The focus of her rage is Universal Pictures, who snapped up a script about the singer's early years in New York earlier this week.

Madonna sought out a copy of the screenplay, called Blonde Ambition, and immediately declared it to be "all lies". "Nobody knows what I know and what I have seen," the 58-year-old fumed on Instagram. "Only I can tell my story. Anyone else who tries is a charlatan and a fool.

Looking for instant gratification without doing the work. This is a disease in our society." Penned by first-time writer Elyse Hollander, Blonde Ambition topped last year's Black List, Hollywood's annual chart of the best unproduced screenplays.

The list has previously featured future Oscar-winners such as Spotlight, The Revenant, Argo and American Hustle - so it's no surprise that Universal nabbed the rights. Two major producers have already been attached to the project, Michael De Luca (The Social Network) and Brett Ratner (X-Men), who himself directed Madonna's Beautiful Stranger video in 1999.

However, it's clear that the project doesn't have the star's approval. In theory, that's not a barrier to the film getting made, but the script relies heavily on Madonna's music, including Like A Virgin, Everybody and Lucky Star.

If the singer vetoes their use, the project would essentially be dead in the water. But how inaccurate is Hollander's script? We read a publicly available draft to see how closely it stuck to Madonna's story. While the arc is broadly true, Hollander compresses and condenses events, even creating composite characters to keep up the momentum.

Here's what's true, and what isn't. The first act of the script focuses on Madonna's pre-fame band The Emmys, which she formed with her boyfriend Dan Gilroy and childhood friend Stephen Bray, who went on to co-write Into The Groove, Express Yourself and True Blue. Their name derived from Madonna's childhood nickname, and video footage of their scrappy garage tunes can easily be found online.

The film insists the group were a cheap knock-off of new wave pop band Blondie, but their sound was more indebted to Britain's ska and 2 Tone scenes. Madonna can even be heard adopting a British accent in some of their early demos.

Madonna's most public mishap came at the 2015 Brit Awards, when she was yanked off stage by a cape. But it had happened once before - at the first MTV Awards in 1984, when she lost a stiletto while walking down a 17ft (5m) tall wedding cake in her wedding dress (it could happen to anyone).

Although the incident plays a pivotal part in Blonde Ambition - has she lost the baby? - it was never as serious as the script makes out. "I thought, 'Well, I'll just pretend I meant to do this,'"

Madonna later said. "So I dove on the floor and I rolled around. And, as I reached for the shoe, the dress went up. And [my] underpants were showing." The stumble-flash made television history and propelled Madonna to even greater heights. And that's where the film drops the curtain.

Jay Chou, Hannah Quinlivan spotted at a nightmarket

A netizen recently uploaded a picture of a couple’s back views at the Kenting Night Market, claiming that the couple in the picture was Mandopop star Jay Chou and his wife, model Hannah Quinlivan.

However, a number of fans also remained sceptical about the identity of the couple, as Jay did not look as tall as the male in the picture, casting doubt over the authenticity of the netizen’s sighting and inciting a heated discussion.

Jay and Hannah tied the knot in January 2015 and welcomed their first child, Hathaway Chou, 2, in July the same year.

The couple announced that they are expecting their second child, a son, in January this year.

Orlando Bloom had crush on Emma Bunton

Orlando Bloom had a crush on Emma Bunton when she was in the Spice Girls.

The 40-year-old actor - who is father to six-year-old son Flynn with his ex-wife Miranda Kerr - is single again after recently splitting from Katy Perry and during an interview on Baby Spice's Heart Radio Breakfast Show on Thursday morning (27.04.17) he flirted up a storm with the blonde beauty. Orlando, 40, was on the show to promote his new film 'Unlocked' and he told 41-year-old Emma - who has sons Beau, nine, and Tate, five, with husband Jade Jones - that he has always had a soft spot for the '2 Become 1' singer from her days in the girl group.

Whilst discussing his co-star Noomi Rapace's CIA agent character in his action movie, he said: "The world's about strong women today, isn't it, of course Emma started that whole women's movement with the Spice Girls ... are you getting back to that by the way? Are those rumours true? Emma - who was rumoured to be reforming with bandmates Geri Horner and Mel B this summer - replied: "No, they're not true I'm afraid." Orlando cheekily added: "Aww I'd love to see you jumping around in one of those little outfits again!"

To which a flattered Emma replied: "Thanks Orlando, I could just get one on now..." Before he interjected to reveal: "I had a crush on you, yeah I did, yeah." Turning a shade of red on hearing his revelation, Emma asked: "Did you, was I your favourite?"

Orlando replied: "Yeah" Emma teased: "I'm going to put an outfit on for you now! Just for you!" Emma also took to Instagram and Twitter to tell her fans and radio listeners that Orlando was in the studio, she tweeted a meme of her, co-star Jamie Theakston and Orlando blowing a kiss, with the caption: "@orlandobloom in the house!!!! #hot" And she followed it with a clip of Orlando's confession, to which she captioned, "orlandobloom admits he has a crush on @EmmaBunton" with an emoji of a person with their hands in their air celebrating.

Professor Green pens song for Craig David in hospital

Professor Green has come up with a song for Craig David while in hospital.

The 33-year-old rapper is currently being treated for "stomach bloating" following his triple hernia operation and has been spending his time "constructively" writing some lyrics which he thinks would suit the 35-year-old Garage legend.

Sharing a short clip of himself in bed singing the lines he has for the 'Nothing Like This' hitmaker on Instagram on Thursday (27.04.17), he captioned the post: "Constructive use of hospital time. Garage vibes I reckon. @craigdavid my bro what you saying??? Wanna make this sound proper? (PS: I look like a melon when i sing). (PPS: hear this on the voice of Craig David and you'll get what's going round in my head) (sic)"

In the video he sings: "I've got a feeling that you are looking for a reason, looking for a reason, to leave/ I've got a feeling that you are looking for a reason, looking for a reason to because nothing ain't ever enough, nothing that I do is never good enough for you."

Green is the "second person in the world to have an allergic reaction to the mesh" used to fix his hernia.

The 'Lullaby' hitmaker - real name Stephen Manderson - was admitted to hospital last week to have three ruptures fixed in a five-hour operation and he has been keeping his fans updated on his condition via social media.

He was discharged but then had to be re-admitted and hooked up to a catheter due to bloating and he revealed the cause of all his problems is a rare, but severe, allergic reaction and other complications including pneumonia and a partially collapsed lung.

He wrote: "I'm on the mend. Turns out I'm only the second person in the world to have an allergic reaction to the mesh used to fix my hernia. I've had a giggle on Instagram but here's the reality. I didn't wanna worry anyone, least of all my nan. I came back to hospital with pneumonia, a partially collapsed lung, distension, fluid build up and ileus (my guts had shut down).

"I'm getting better. Everything is starting to work again, all my bloods are looking better and I finally got some sleep last night.

"If I seemed a bit emotional at times it's been because I've been awake most hours of each day and it becomes quite a lot like torture when you have your entire life taken away from you and you're stuck in a room in the most uncomfortable and painful situation you've ever been in (I've only been taking paracetamol as opiods make the problem even worse), not to mention the anxiety that comes with not knowing why any of this is happening. (sic)"

Green - who was previously married to 'Made in Chelsea' star Millie Mackintosh from 2013 to 2016 - also posted some graphic images of the operation to show how he "f ***** up genetically". But he has promised that once he is well again he will be dropping some new music.

He wrote: "Anyway. Here's some graphic images to show you how f***ery this should-be simple procedure has been due to me being so uniquely f***** up genetically. For anyone who thought I was making a mountain out of molehill ... I don't even wish this upon you. I wish worse. LOVE. PS: I've been nil by mouth for a week. It isn't hard to p*** me off right now. I NEED A F****** NANDOS. PPS: SAP? I've dealt with more f***ery than most and I still make light of it. I'm about to drop a BELTER for summer and got three new docs coming which I've filmed or filmed partially while I was sick as a dog. They're still f****** brilliant. Life is great and if I can't salute my hard b****** of a woman without being called a sap or you thinking I've gone 'soft' [sic] then you man must be verrrrry insecure, I feel sorry for the ladies in your lives. Love is for grown ups and those comfortable enough in their skins to express it. LOVE X10000000. (sic)"

Chris Clark opens up about split from Jesy Nelson

Jesy Nelson's ex-boyfriend Chris Clark has hinted he was in love with another woman during their relationship.

The reality TV star split from Jesy earlier this month, with reports suggesting he felt uncomfortable with the attention surrounding their romance - but the dark-haired hunk has now admitted he was never truly over the emotional heartbreak of his split from ex-girlfriend Amber Dowding.

He said: "I think these past weeks make me realise that I thought I was over her, I did think that. And maybe I'm not so sure any more."

Amber has recently been hospitalised by a mystery illness, but Chris admitted the situation has helped him to realise what she means to him.

The 'Only Way Is Essex' star explained: "I am now single and I see Amber ... I see her at the hospital. She was quite ill. So I messaged her on Twitter and just said 'I didn't like seeing you lie that. I hope you get better'. Despite what's gone on, her being in my life makes me happier. That's the bottom line."

And Chris - who dated Jesy from February until earlier this month - suggested he retains a hope that he will eventually rekindle his romance with Amber.

He said: "I feel like if I kept putting that to the back of my head, two or three years down the line if she didn't find anyone else I would regret not doing stuff like this."

Chris explained, too, that in spite of his past issues with Amber, he'll always think of her fondly.

He shared: "At the end of the day, I'm a human being, I do have feelings, and I do care for the girl. I always have done, and I always will do."

Kylie Jenner slams Rob Kardashian's relationship with Blac Chyna

Kylie Jenner thinks Rob Kardashian's relationship with Blac Chyna is "unhealthy".

The 19-year-old reality TV star has admitted it's become increasingly hard for her to support Rob's on/off relationship with the 28-year-old model, who is the mother of his five-month-old daughter Dream.

Kylie - who previously dated Chyna's ex-boyfriend, rapper Tyga - said: "It's really hard to support a relationship that's really unhealthy, especially when it's hurting my brother and now it's affected me.

"I just wish they could just stop this kind of roller-coaster ride." Kylie allowed Rob and Chyna to live in one of her homes because she wanted to support their relationship. But the teenage businesswoman was angered to discover that her property had been trashed during one of the couple's intense arguments.

Speaking on 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians', Kylie explained: "I agreed, cause me and Chyna kinda put everything behind us, and my brother seemed really happy and I wanted him to enjoy his new life and I wasn't here to block anyone's blessing. "But my mom calls me to kind of keep me informed on what's going on in my home, and apparently Chyna threw something at my television that I left there. It's just a little disrespectful and I wouldn't do that in anyone else's home."

And in a conversation with her sister Kendall, Kylie warned that things could continue to get worse between Rob and Chyna over the coming months.

She said: "It's just really sad and I don't think it's going to end well." Kylie's thoughts have been echoed by Rob's sister Kim, who said the relationship "just isn't that healthy".

Kim added: "It's so clear what this relationship is and that they're just not meant to be with each other."

Ady An’s husband didn’t have a good first impression of her

The road to love was a rocky one for Taiwanese actress Ady An and her businessman husband, Chen Ronglian.

In a recent interview, the 36-year-old revealed more details about their relationship, and how the couple first met.

According to Ady, when she first saw Ronglian, she could not care less about him. As for Ronglian, he left their first meeting with a bad taste in his mouth due to Ady’s cold attitude.

Later, when the couple crossed paths for the second time, Ronglian began pursing Ady in earnest. However, Ady felt that the businessman was not truly attracted to her, and that he only wanted to score a celebrity girlfriend.

The actress also did not want to be known as one of the many female celebrities who had tied the knot with rich businessmen, thus, she rejected him. After the duo got closer together, Ady realised that their views on love and relationships were exceedingly similar. “He was willing to spend his most precious asset, time, to be with me,” Ady shared, adding that that was the one thing that touched her heart.

Additionally, the lovebirds both preferred to keep a low profile, which was why their relationship was only revealed after they got hitched.

The actress also shared that after getting into a relationship, she started reducing her workload, as she doesn’t want to be apart from her husband for too long, describing herself as a “tiger that has become a cat.” Ady also let on that Ronglian once drove from Macau to Guangzhou in the middle of the night just to deliver medicine for her flu, causing her to laugh that she has “married the correct man.”

The 36-year-old revealed more details about her June wedding, sharing that as they both like the sun, they’re planning to hold it on an island. After the island ceremony, they will return to Taiwan to hold another banquet.

However, she declined to share more details about her bridesmaids. Ady also affirmed that the couple has no plans to start a family, and that they have yet to decide on a honeymoon location.

Finally, when asked if Ady felt disappointed that her good friend, Taiwanese singer-actor Shone An, who passed on in 2015 due to liver cancer, is unable to attend her wedding, the actress replied, “I don’t feel sad, because [I know] that he’ll definitely attend. He really likes my husband, and [Shone] approves of him.”

Ady announced her flash marriage to her boyfriend of two years, Hong Kong multimillionaire Chen Ronglian last month (March 15), shocking fans with the sudden news.

Rainie Yang laughs about accidental Facebook post with Lee Ronghao

Taiwanese singer-actress Rainie Yang showed up as the ambassador for a mobile phone brand yesterday, where she was asked about her famous slip-up in 2015.

Back then, Rainie had accidentally uploaded an intimate selfie of herself with Chinese singer Li Ronghao on his Facebook account whilst using his phone.

The photo was swiftly deleted once Rainie realised her mistake, but by then, fans and netizens alike had taken screenshots of the picture, thus revealing the couple’s relationship. When reporters asked if she’d still slip up when using her new phone, Rainie laughed, “I’m hoping that the new phone will be easy to use for me, so that I wouldn’t make such a mistake again”.

The 32-year-old also revealed that she has more photos of her beloved pooch than Ronghao on her phone, and that she “trembles with fear” every time she uploads a photo.

Rainie also revealed her secret to taking a good selfie, sharing, “I see a lot of girls who like to take their photos from a high angle to make their eyes appear bigger, but I prefer to take my photos from a normal angle, as I don’t want to lose sight of reality.”

In other non-related news, Rainie, who left her previous record company last year to establish her own personal studio, shared that she has more responsibilities to take on now.

The singer-actress divulged that she doesn’t dare to go on holiday for too long, and that she’s currently learning how to read statistical reports and the like.

However, she has no patience for numbers, and gets tired very easily whenever she’s faced with the reports.

Aaron Kwok, Moka Fang’s wedding in pictures

Sorry ladies, Aaron Kwok is officially off the market.

After weeks of speculation, the Heavenly King married his 28-year-old model-girlfriend, Moka Fang, in a low-key wedding ceremony held at The Peninsula Hong Kong, after two years of dating.

The actor-singer took showbiz by surprise yesterday evening when he released pictures of himself in a wedding tux and one of him and his groomsmen.

More official pictures of Aaron, 51, and his blushing bride was released later at night. In one of the pictures, Moka, who was wearing a traditional Chinese red Kua for the tea ceremony in the morning, was spotted with a more pronounced belly, sparking speculations of a shotgun marriage.

According to insiders, the couple are expecting their first child but have not share the good news yet as Moka is still in the first trimester of her pregnancy (it is taboo to reveal one’s pregnancy in the first three months, according to Chinese beliefs).

The wedding dinner was said to be a 10-table affair and eyewitnesses shared that the wedding venue was decorated with an estimated 1,000 pink roses.

Aaron’s manager did not reply to reporters’ queries about the newly-weds’ wedding budget, including the cost of the venue and the bride’s Tom Ford gown and customised wedding veil.

The couple’s big day was attended by Aaron’s close friends, including Hong Kong actor Chilam Cheung, Sunny Wong and Chingmy Yau and husband.

Katherine Heigl reveals challenges of breastfeeding

Katherine Heigl has found breastfeeding her three-month-old son Josh while promoting her new movie to be "really awkward".

The 38-year-old actress is currently busily promoting 'Unforgettable', but has been trying to balance her professional responsibilities with the challenges of being a new mum.

She shared: "Trying to pump or breastfeed between interviews [has] been really interesting. It's a whole new world for me." Katherine - who also has two adopted daughters, Naleigh, eight, and Adalaide, four, with her husband Josh Kelley - revealed she even found herself having to pump in the bathroom while filming 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' earlier this week.

The actress admitted: "It's really awkward, honestly. [But what's] best for the baby is best for the mom!"

Despite this, Katherine loves being a parent and revealed that she and her husband both enjoy trying to embarrass the little ones in their lives.

She told ET Online: "We love to embarrass them. Josh has great, great embarrassing stories. "He drives my niece to the bus stop every morning and he wears my pink robe and he gets out of the car waves her off on the bus [so] all of her classmates get to see him in his pink robe... It's great." Meanwhile, Katherine admitted earlier this month that her life has turned out "much better" than she ever imagined.

The Hollywood star revealed she loves spending time at home with her family and said she always tries to focus on that instead of getting weighed down by less important matters. She shared: "It's so much better than I could have ever imagined, my life and family.

"It's just trying to remember that and be grateful and try and hold onto it cause you do get caught up in the minutiae."

Janet Hsieh shows off her svelte figure

Taiwanese-American host Janet Hsieh marked the 15th week of her pregnancy by posting a picture showing off her baby bump on Facebook on Monday (April 17).

The 37-year-old was all smiles for the photo, which showed her mother with her hands on Janet’s baby bump. “My mum looks like she’s very much looking forward to being a grandmother!” Janet wrote.

However, what drew the attention of netizens was not Janet’s mother’s happy smile, but the host’s slim figure.

Netizens left comments wishing Janet a smooth pregnancy, and congratulating her, with some expressing their disbelief at her figure, asking, “Is Janet really pregnant?”. Janet tied the knot with her husband, Singapore-based actor-host George Young in 2015, in an intimate wedding ceremony in Antarctica, slightly over a year after going public with their relationship.

The couple announced that they were expecting their first child on April Fool’s Day this year.

Chinese actress Bai Baihe confirms reports of divorce

Last week, tabloids in China published pictures of Chinese actress Bai Baihe getting chummy with an unnamed male, later revealed to be Chinese model Zhang Aipeng, in Thailand.

After news got out, it was reported that the actress, who is married to Chinese singer Chen Yufan, was dropped from her upcoming projects and endorsements. On Sunday (April 16), Yufan broke his silence and posted a video on Weibo, where he revealed that the couple had separated in 2015, and quietly divorced.

However, they did not publicise the news of their divorce as they wanted to protect their 9-year-old son, Chen Shengtong. Baihe followed suit with a statement of her own, which she uploaded on Weibo on Monday (April 17).

“I’m thankful to all the people who have shown their care and concern to me, [sorry] for letting you guys worry. I feel sorry as this matter has affected Chen Yufan as well. I would also like to apologise to my parents and Yufan’s parents, as well as my 9-year-old son,” she wrote.

The 33-year-old shared that in their son’s eyes, the three of them “will forever be a family,” and expressed her wish for some privacy and time alone as they sort out their family matter.

Baihe reiterated that the couple did not publicise the news of their divorce in order to protect their son, writing, “Divorce is something that’s between the two families [only]. As we wanted to give our son a complete family during his growing-up years, we did not announce the news [of our divorce].

Baihe tied the knot with Yufan in 2006, and gave birth to Shengtong in 2008. In 2015, she was suspected to be the third-party in Taiwanese actor Ethan Ruan’s relationship with Taiwanese actress Tiffany Hsu.

Chance the Rapper's birthday raises over $100,000 for charity

Chance the Rapper raised over $100,000 for his charity at his 24th birthday bash. The 'Cocoa Butter Kisses' rapper put on a sold-out gig titled 'Chance the Birthday' at nightclub Studio Paris in Chicago on Saturday (16.04.17), which featured performances from fellow rap stars Ludacris and T-Pain, as well as, TV's Big Bird from 'Sesame Street'.

The hip-hop star donated the funds to Social Works, his nonprofit charity, which he set up "to empower the youth through arts, education, and civic engagement".

The big talking point of the party, however, was his fried chicken dinner meal bucket cake, which imitated fast-food restaurant Harold's packaging along with a drink of kiwi-strawberry Mistic.

Chance took to Instagram to share the sweet masterpiece on Instagram and thanked "God" for his blessed life. He captioned the picture: "Thank God for the people in my life. I've had unimaginable & undeserving blessings in my 24 years here. I love you chicago, let's see what we can do for this world (sic)"

Last month, Chance donated $1 million to public schools in Chicago. The 'No Problem' hitmaker raised the funds through ticket sales for his tour in order to give children a "quality learning experience", and said the money came as a "call to action" for other companies operating in the city who he urged to follow in his footsteps.

Chance - whose real name Chancellor Bennett - said at the time: "I'm committed to help Chicago's children have quality learning experiences that include the arts. As an artist and after-school teacher, I know the arts are invaluable. They teach kids lessons about how small efforts can have big effects and how collaboration can lead to creativity. This cheque is a call to action. I'm challenging major companies in Chicago and across the U.S. to donate and take action."

He went on to state he was "doing everything [he] can to support Chicago's most valuable resource, its children".

At the time, Chicago Public Schools (CPS) had a $215 million funding gap, and Chance has been imploring corporations and celebrities to come together to help donate whatever they can to the cause.

The musician also said for every $100,000 donated to CPS, his organisation SocialWorks will give $10,000 to a school of their choosing to be used on developing their arts departments and after school activities.

Cash Money faces lawsuit over Drake albums

Aspire Music Group has launched a lawsuit against Cash Money Records in relation to the profits and copyright royalties from Drake's first six solo albums.

According to the legal claim, the Cash Money record label is guilty of a breach of contract and a breach of good faith in relation to the money-spinning albums.

Aspire argues that, in 2008, the company signed an exclusive recording agreement with Drake, before entering into an agreement with Cash Money Records.

Aspires says that, under the terms of that accord, the label allowed the chart-topping rap star to record for Cash Money in exchange for one-third of the net profits of his first six albums.

What's more, Aspire claims it was entitled to one third of the copyrights of his master recordings for the albums, 'So Far Gone', 'Thank Me Later', 'Take Care', 'Nothing Was the Same', 'If You're Reading This It's Too Late' and 'Views'. But Aspire has now insisted Cash Money never paid out any profits or royalties "besides a few modest advances".

The complaint also states that Cash Money signed a direct exclusive artist agreement with Drake in 2013, despite Aspire's pre-existing deal.

Drake was paid as much as $10 million under that agreement, $4 million of which was in profits from albums under the Aspire-Cash Money accord.

But Aspire claims that money was instead due to the firm. The precise value of the lawsuit remains unclear, but is thought to total tens of millions of dollars.

Aspire is, therefore, asking the court to supervise a full accounting of Cash Money's books in order to determine the monetary value of its claim.

Hebe Tien is smitten with Ella Chen’s baby

Days after fellow S.H.E member Ella Chen welcomed her baby boy, nicknamed “Strong Baby” into the world, singer-actress Hebe Tien performed Hong Kong singer Faye Wong’s song, ‘Mortal World’ at her solo concert in Wuhan, China, and dedicated it to the baby boy.

The 34-year-old confessed that she catches herself staring at pictures of the baby on her phone, and often wonders what he might be doing right now.

After making the confession, she proceeded to perform ‘Mortal World’, captivating the audience with her clear voice. In related news, fellow S.H.E member Selina Jen also praised Ella online recently, deeming her the bravest woman she’s ever met. Selina shared that when she saw Ella suffering from contractions during childbirth, she started tearing up for Ella.

“But, all Ella did was to clench her eyebrows and twist her waist while groaning,” she shared, adding that even though the mother-of-one was in pain, she brushed the pain aside and begun singing their song, ‘Genesis’, together with Hebe and Selina.

“She’s really a crazy mother,” Selina laughed.

Ella confirmed that she was pregnant in October, and shared a month later that she was expecting a boy, whom she gave birth to last Wednesday (April 12). She tied the knot with her Malaysian businessman husband Alvin Lai over four years ago, and she has regularly kept her fans updated about her blissful wedded life.

Ruby Lin releases pregnancy photoshoot pictures

Throughout Taiwanese actress Ruby Lin’s pregnancy, the fiercely private 41-year-old deliberately concealed her baby bump, as she “wanted to protect my unborn baby”.

Apart from candid snaps from the public who managed to spot the actress out and about during her pregnancy, the actress’s baby bump was never clearly photographed.

Even in pictures on either her own or her friends’ Facebook pages, Ruby made sure to hide her baby bump with a cleverly positioned cushion or prop. Last year, when Ruby was six months pregnant, she finally uploaded a picture of herself together with a white cat, showing off her baby bump.

But, the picture was eventually deleted, with netizens speculating that it was because she wanted to put an end to the malicious comments from netizens, who accused her of using her child to boast about her marriage to Taiwanese actor Wallace Huo.

Frustrated, the actress took it upon herself to reply the netizens personally, writing, “Be good, [and] stop making up your own news. I genuinely want to protect [the privacy] of the little [baby in my] stomach, which is why I deleted the photo.

There’s nothing more to it.” However, netizens and fans alike were in for a surprise last Saturday (April 15). As the actress’s baby girl, nicknamed “Little Dolphin” turned 100 days old on that day, Ruby uploaded a number of pictures from her pregnancy photoshoot, writing, “I kind of miss the feeling of you being inside [my stomach], [here’s something to] commemorate today.”

Soon after she posted the pictures, fans flocked to her post to leave comments praising her beauty, with some even urging her to “have another baby”. Ruby tied the knot with Wallace in Bali last August.

The couple remained fiercely private about their personal life, especially Ruby’s pregnancy, after the wedding. The birth of their daughter in January was only announced days after her delivery.

Teresa Palmer: I'm 'selective' now I'm a mother

Teresa Palmer is "more selective" with her film roles now that she's a mother.

The 31-year-old actress has two sons, three-year-old Bodhi Rain and four-month-old Forest Sage with her husband Mark Webber, and has said she now finds herself turning down film roles if she doesn't believe they're worth spending time away from her family.

Speaking to Australian television show 'The Project', the 'Lights Out' actress said: "I am more selective. It has to be a very special project for me to want to leave my family." Recently, Teresa revealed she enjoys the "chaos" that comes with having two young children, and says the whole experience of parenthood is "surreal".

She said: "I actually like feeling frazzled with unruly hair, sleepless nights, a noisy house and bed full of kids. "The beauty in the chaos is my favourite thing and I wouldn't change the messiness of it at all. "Sometimes I look in the mirror and can't believe that I'm a mother to two boys and a stepmother to another one, it feels pretty surreal some days! "It's not stressful when I don't put stock in how things need to look or be or how it should be scheduled. I just try to be very present and just enjoy each of them and meet them where they are at."

The 'Warm Bodies' actress also previously hinted that there may be more additions to her brood in the future, as both her and Mark want "a big family".

She said: "I enjoy the hard days, the busy-ness of it, the 'I love you so much I fear my heart might explode' moments and yes, it's why we both want a big family as tiring as that seems seven weeks postpartum and with three boys!

"I was determined to be able to be both a working mum and a stay at home mum, to somehow connect my two greatest dreams and not have to choose one but to be able to choose to do both."

Chris Clark re-follows ex-girlfriend amid Jesy Nelson split

Chris Clark re-followed his ex-girlfriend Amber Dowding on Instagram after splitting from Jesy Nelson.

The British reality star is said to have hit the follow button on his 'The Only Way Is Essex' co-star and former flame, Amber, the day after he ended his relationship with the 25-year-old Little Mix singer over the phone, The Sun newspaper reports. It's also suggested that Chris was using the 'Shout Out To My Ex' hitmaker for fame and that he made out he was "hurt" by their break up to make him look like he's the most affected by the end of their romance as he is reportedly planning on trying to get Amber back.

An insider told the newspaper: "Jesy has been upset by the break-up. "The next day Chris followed his ex-girlfriend Amber on Instagram again and they started interacting online. Jesy's pals are suspicious about this behaviour. "Jesy doesn't want to believe he might have used her, but she knows a lot of this doesn't add up." The close pal added: "There are stories doing the rounds that Chris is hopeful that they can get back together, but many of us think this is all designed to make him look like the hurt party before he gets back with Amber."

It comes after an insider said Chris wanted to give their relationship another go and was hoping the pair will reunite when Jesy is back in the UK after her tour with Ariana Grande in the US. A source previously said: "Chris is pretty down in the dumps at the moment.

He's told friends that he doesn't want to throw away what he had with Jesy. "If the timing was right he would definitely give their romance another chance but he's unsure if Jesy feels the same. He's hoping they can rekindle when they're both next in the same country."

It was also claimed Jesy and Chris went their separate ways because of their "different lives". A source said: "Their lives are so different; it was never going to work.

Chris is a normal Essex lad, he's very private and low key. He likes spending time with his mum and mates and not being in the spotlight. "Jesy's life is a world away from his. She's a superstar, travelling the world and living in the spotlight.

He got a taste of her lifestyle and it couldn't work - it's just not him. There's no bad blood it just wasn't working out between them."

The pair's split appeared to be confirmed when the 'Touch' hitmaker - who was previously engaged to Rixton's Jake Roche - deleted all traces of the reality star from her Instagram account. She removed any photos of the pair whilst also unfollowing Chris on the photo-sharing app.

Are Aaron Kwok's buddies against his marriage to Moka Fang?

Earlier this month, reports that Aaron Kwok will be tying the knot with his model girlfriend Moka Fang started circulating.

Aaron and his manager's comments only strengthened speculation, with both parties hinting that it was about time that Aaron start a family.

With wedding bells likely to toll anytime soon, his close friends, including Julian Cheung and former Hong Kong actress Chigmy Yau's husband Sham Kar Wai, are said to be unenthusiastic about his upcoming marriage, with some of them even reportedly asking him to reconsider his decision.

Moka was spotted at the Hong Kong airport earlier this week, where eagle-eyed netizens noted that she was not sporting any wedding nor engagement rings on her fingers. Previous reports of a shotgun marriage were also neither confirmed nor dispelled at the time.

On one hand, she handled her luggage on her own, contrary to traditional belief that pregnant women should not carry heavy things.

On the other hand, her loose-fitting attire hid any possible baby bump, and she was seen carefully picking up the papers that she dropped, which some pointed out could be a sign that she is expecting.

When asked if she has said "I do" to Aaron, Moka smiled and refrained from commenting, while questions on whether she has any pressure to bear the Heavenly King children were met with a, "No I don't, thank you."

The pair went public with their relationship in December 2015, shortly after they were spotted at an airport together.

There have been allegations that Moka released the information to media sites so that they would be on-site to capture the two of them together so as to put pressure on Aaron to officially announce that they are dating.

Lin Chi-ling sheds tears while discussing breakups

Lin Chi-ling shed light on her former relationship with Jerry Yan during a recent episode of talk show U Can U BiBi.

The topic of the day's recording was 'should you break up in person?', and the guests invited for the day's recording started off with sharing their personal experiences.

The model then tearfully let on that she has "been dumped" before, adding that she felt fearful and hurt after what happened, which also made her lose confidence in herself.

Chi-ling continued that those going through breakups should face the other party bravely, and that naysayers who mention words such as "You shouldn't have gotten to know him in the first place" should think from another perspective: only after going through such tribulations will you be able to discover yourself, and that all experiences, even the bad ones, are worth treasuring.

She added that only when you forgive yourself and leave your emotional baggage behind can you continue with life.

Upon hearing her confession, the hosts tried to probe her on whether the other party she mentioned is Jerry Yan. Chi-ling looked to Kevin Tsai, who is a fixed panel member, for help, and he said, "With regards to Lin Chi-ling's current relationship status, we can avoid mentioning the words Jerry Yan."

Undeterred, they tried once again to ask if that means that she has no intention to ever consider a relationship again with him, to which Kevin jumped in once again to respond with, "What I said was already an obvious enough answer."

John Mayer's feeling content

John Mayer feels he is "pretty much where he should be" personally and professionally.

The 'Free Fallin' hitmaker is gearing up to turn 40 later this year and feels he is at a point of his life where he knows what he wants in both his career and his private life.

He said: "I'm pretty much where I should be ... I have no reason to want to be any older or younger. Artists put themselves through dark times, knowing that if they create enough and well enough, they can emerge with great work that lives forever. I did that, and I now have this work that I've definitely hurt for, and this is my time to celebrate it ...

"The tour is like a victory lap after two and a half years of working on a record that is the deepest dive I've ever taken as an artist. The pot of gold at the end of the whole thing was being able to go around the world and play these songs as a happy, well-situated, excited, inspired guy. That's who you're talking to."

And the 39-year-old singer insists his new track didn't start "as a breakup record".

He told USA Today: "I wouldn't say it started as a breakup record. [It] began with this idea of, 'I don't need to put out another album and I'm not going to until it proved the reason for its existence' ...

"It's about getting older and comparing my track to other people's. Part of me is a quote-unquote 'rock star' and part of me is this kid from Fairfield, Connecticut, who really wasn't made for this. That part looks around at the other parts and goes, 'Is any of this OK? Am I alright doing this?'"

Priscilla Presley uncomfortable with fame

Priscilla Presley is "still not comfortable" being in the spotlight.

The 71-year-old star - who was married to the late Elvis Presley for six years until 1973 and has daughter Lisa Marie with the singer - admits she still finds fame uncomfortable and is "always on [her] guard" for prying photographers.

She said: "I'm still not comfortable being in the limelight. Memphis was pretty good about protecting him and letting us live our lives. But in California though, we'd be lying out by the pool in our backyard and hear the rustling of trees and, sure enough, the paparazzi would be hiding behind them. "You'd always be on guard, always looking around. I don't think you ever get that comfortable being in the limelight. Sure, there are a lot of people who love it, but it still doesn't seem normal to me."

And Priscilla - who also has 30-year-old son Navarone from a previous relationship - doesn't believe the 'Hound Dog' hitmaker would have adapted well to sites like Instagram and Facebook if he was still alive as he was always a "very private person".

She added: "I could not see him doing that at all! He just never got into the fame thing. He performed, but if you look back he hardly did any interviews. He did what he was supposed to do, but he wasn't into it.

"He was a very private person. I definitely can't see him on social media. We've joked about this before with some of the inner-circle, saying that 'Elvis would never be on Facebook!' He just wasn't that guy. He was so much more into his art and music than being Elvis Presley."

And despite being thrust into the spotlight when she started dating Elvis, she doesn't regret the experience at all.

She told news.com.au: "It was an amazing experience. And I don't regret it. It has made me a better person, I've had challenges I never would have had, and I've had to up my game to be prepared for things I never would have had to. While it has meant that my life hasn't been 'normal', I've just accepted it all."

JJ Lin gets back with an old flame?

Local singer JJ Lin was first romantically linked to Taiwanese singer Yumi Lin from the girl group Weather Girls in 2006.

The couple allegedly dated for three years before calling it quits, amidst rumours that JJ had cheated on Yumi. There is widespread speculation that they are an item again, due to a now-deleted picture of JJ on Yumi’s Instagram.

In the picture, JJ can be seen posing together with a dog, with the caption, which was written by Yumi, reading, “Thank you Dad.”

According to the reports, JJ and Yumi bought a pet dog, named Momo together back when they were still dating, and raised it together.

After their split, Momo stayed with Yumi. The 33-year-old recently celebrated Momo’s birthday, posting a picture of her together with her beloved pet pooch captioned, “[My] mum wore birthday hats with me while out for a walk.”

When asked to confirm whether JJ had gotten back together with Yumi, or if it was just an innocent meet-up between two ex-lovers, JJ’s manager would only say that he “was there to visit Momo.”

Yumi’s manager also stated that JJ will drop by once in a while to visit Momo, and that the duo still keep in contact, even though they are not in a romantic relationship.

Jay Chou to perform again at National Stadium on Jan 6, 2018

Mandopop star Jay Chou is set to return to Singapore for a concert at the National Stadium on Jan 6 next year, Multimedia Entertainment confirmed to Channel NewsAsia on Thursday (Apr 13).

Ticketing details will be released at a later date, a spokesperson for the concert promoter added. Chou's last two concerts here, both of which were held at the National Stadium, were dogged by issues.

After his performance on Sep 3 last year, more than 2,000 people signed a petition asking for refunds due to "unacceptable standards" related to the sound quality.

The petition's organiser had said that audiences who were not seated in line with the speakers "only heard muffled sounds and strong bass throughout" the night.

Chris Evans: I've never had any 'bad breakups'

Chris Evans has never had any "bad breakups".

The 'Captain America: Civil War' star - who has dated the likes of actresses Jessica Biel, Christina Ricci and Jenny Slate - insists he is on good terms with all of the women he has romanced in the past.
Asked if he runs into any of his exes in Los Angeles, he said: "It's very rare. But I've had no bad breakups in my life. Typically, if I see an ex, I give a big hug, and it's wonderful to catch up. "If you're ever fortunate enough to love someone and have them love you back, it's worth protecting that. It's rare that someone can truly know you. And if you've broken through that kind of wall, I think it's important to value that."

And the 35-year-old actor - who recently split from Jenny - insists his pals aren't putting any pressure on him to settle down.

He added: "I don't think [they're putting pressure on me]. Not to my face [anyway]." And Chris admits he is "deeply connected to his inner child" and feels like a "little kid trapped in a 35-year-old's body".

He told the May issue of ELLE magazine: "I feel deeply connected to my inner child. When I see a bounce house and those little cups of ice cream, I'm like, 'S**t. Where's mine?' "I'm not ashamed of the parts of my youth that I'm still connected to - whether it's cartoons or Disney World or Christmastime. I think they're a real representation of my true self before the world had its impact on me. "Sometimes when you see a group of grown-ups together acting like adults ... it's just not in me. I always kind of feel like a little kid trapped in a 35-year-old's body."

Kelly Rowland: Having a baby brought my husband and I closer

Kelly Rowland says having a baby brought her and husband closer. The 'Kisses Down Low' hitmaker - who has two-year-old son Titan with her spouse Tim Witherspoon - praised her husband for always being so "supportive" and understanding.

She said: "It actually brought us closer. In some ways, we had to figure it out together, and we did. He was just so supportive, he always asked me if I needed help and he always tried to figure out a way to just be there to comfort me and I'm so grateful to him for that."

And Tim was incredibly cautious about the pair jumping back into bed after Kelly gave birth, much to her annoyance.

She added: "You know, that six-week period [after childbirth] feels like forever, and as a gentleman - [Tim's] very gentle, so he wanted to give me a little more space. I'm like, 'No, let's go!' I'm still a mom and it doesn't matter ... I'm a woman and I have physical needs." And the pair feel it is important to schedule time for themselves too.

She told Entertainment Tonight: "I think that it has to be a conscious thing that you want to do. Before the baby comes, just have a list of things that you want to promise each other. Whether it's, 'You do this on Fridays,' or 'We have date nights on this day,' 'Let's make sure we can do vacation, just me and you.'

"It's just certain things like promises that you make between each other. I actually learned that from Dr. Bickman because her and her husband have Friday nights, every Friday night, just them two together.

She said they can be at a restaurant and they don't have to say anything, but it's just the time that they have together. It's such a great goal to have."

Is Liu Yifei pregnant?

Is she, or is she not? Chinese actress Liu Yifei could be pregnant – according to Chinese reports, at least.

Korean cable channel Channel A’s talk show, The Untold Story, discussed this issue on their episode this week, raising questions on whether she and her Korean actor boyfriend, Song Seung Heon, are expecting a baby together and if that means that wedding bells will toll for them this year.

The pair has been rumoured on numerous occasions to have broken up, but refuted the speculations, instead assuring that their relationship is going strong.

At the end of last year, Song Seung Heon was said to have gone on a holiday with Liu Yifei and her mother, which netizens took as an indication that the actor has gained approval from her family.

Reports have also suggested other signs pointing to a possible pregnancy: Liu Yifei has put on weight recently, with a possible baby bump spotted on a few occasions. She has also reduced the number of times she wears pants.

Neither party has responded to the pregnancy allegations, with some netizens guessing that she is possibly in her first trimester and will not make any announcement until she enters her fourth month of pregnancy.

Shaun Ryder: The 80s and 90s are a blur

Shaun Ryder says the 80s and the 90s are one big "blur".

The 54-year-old rocker is set to perform at Shiiine On Weekender at Butlin's Arena, Minehead in November with his band the Happy Mondays, along with Levellers, Pop Will Eat Itself, Jim Bob (Carter USM) and The Woodentops, in a celebration of the very best of 80s and 90s Indie and Dance music.

However, the 'Step On' hitmaker - who was addled on drugs and booze back then - admits he doesn't have much of a recollection of what went down back then, except for their trips to Brazil.

In February 1991, Happy Mondays famously played at the Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro and meet Ronnie Biggs, an English thief, known for his role in the Great Train Robbery of 1963, for his escape from prison in 1965. Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, he said: "Well, I tell you, I can remember the 60s more than I can remember the 80s and the 90s.

"They are just a blur. We had a couple of good times in Brazil, you would have to give me something specific. I was eight years old in the 60s, but I can remember it a lot better than the 90s."

Ryder says their set at Shiiine On will be much like their 30th anniversary tour, all of the hits from their back catalogue of five studio albums.

Asked what punters at the adult weekend extravaganza can expect, he said: "We are doing something from all the albums. It's the 30th anniversary of 'Squirrel and G-Man Twenty Four Hour Party People Plastic Face Carnt Smile (White Out)' that is the name of the tour that we are doing. So we are going to be doing bits from all of the albums actually. It's a greatest hits album set." Shiiine On / Butlin's Live Music Weekends is a festival for grown-ups who don't want to trudge around in the mud! It takes place from November 10 to November 13.

Dennis Quaid: I've had a threesome

Dennis Quaid has had a threesome.

The 63-year-old actor has confessed to having engaged in sex with two other people at the same time during a candid conversation on 'Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen' - although he refused to reveal the identity of the other participants.

The 'Parent Trap' actor confirmed to the host that he'd previously had a threesome, before adding: "[I've] never had any complaints, let's put it that way."

In a segment dubbed 'Menacing The Dennis', after the actor moaned about being asked feeble questions during a previous appearance on the show, Dennis was also asked about his history of drug use.

Dennis, who has battled drug addiction and an eating disorder during his life, revealed the most dangerous drug he'd ever tried was cocaine, confessing he never turned to heroin because he was scared by the possible consequences.

He said: "I didn't try heroin because I thought, 'If I love this stuff I'm really gone.'"

During the show, Dennis was also asked by Andy whether his ex-wife Meg Ryan had ever wanted to reunite with him.

The actor, who was married to Meg from 1991 until 2001, revealed he tried to resurrect their romance, but she wasn't interested in taking him back. Clarifying the situation, Dennis said: "I called her up and tried but it didn't work." Meanwhile, Dennis admitted earlier this year he decided to address his drug problem after he had a "white-light moment".

Dennis initially had an experimental attitude towards drugs, but subsequently realised they posed a very real threat to his health and, therefore, he decided to seek professional help.

He said: "I saw myself dead in five years or at least losing everything I had worked for and wanted in life and so I put myself in a treatment centre for 28 days and I did everything they said. "I was able to quit drinking and smoking pot for the next 10 years."
