miss A’s Suzy has been offered the leading role in an upcoming Chinese period drama, Silk Night.
The 20-year-old was recently revealed to be dating actor Lee Min Ho and made a comeback with her group with their mini album Colors. She declined a lead role in upcoming Korean movie Kitty as she wanted to focus on miss A’s activities instead.
Her label, JYP Entertainment confirmed that they had received the offer and were in the midst of considering the role.
Silk Night, a 60-episode web drama which is based on a novel of the same name, revolves around a man who travels back in time and disguises himself as a Ming Dynasty imperial guard.
The lead actor has been confirmed to be Zhang Han, who landed his first lead role in 2009 as the lead in the Chinese adaptation of Boys over Flowers.
Silk Night is slated to start filming in May.
