Super Junior’s Leeteuk considering action against rumourmongers

Super Junior’s Leeteuk has sent a clear signal to those spreading negative rumours about him with his latest Twitter updates.

In his post, he declared that he is “now collecting data. I’m gathering the circulation of false information (and) repeated malicious rumours – in particular those that include my family. I’ll be thankful if you can find the IDs, posts or screen captures for me.”

He has also apparently set up a new email account to collect such information from netizens, and followed up with an email address, asking for those with the information he needs to send it to him.

Leeteuk was recently the subject of yet another post which compiled mistakes he had allegedly made which included purported instances of him putting others, including his group member and senior label mate, down. The post which was circulated on Nate Pann, one of the largest community discussion portals in Korea, provided alleged proof of more of his supposed wrongdoings, which included sexist comments.

Many of these allegations were shot down by fans of the celebrity which clarified that many of the instances were taken out of context. Additional posts that cleared up some of the allegations were also made on Pann, but fans have commented that negative posts tend to attract more viewership, thus resulting in his reputation being tarnished.
