Taiwanese actor Chen Bo Lin, who is a good friend of both Jaycee Chan
and Kai Ko, has been widely speculated to be embroiled in the drug case that is reported to involve at least 120 celebrities.
In response, Bo Lin’s company stated that the artiste is willing to
cooperate with relevant authorities to prove his innocence.
After
news of the drug case broke, Bo Lin expressed concern for his buddies on
Weibo: “Everyone makes mistakes. I pray for the best.”
Apart from taking up the Ice Bucket Challenge, the In Time with You star has since kept a low profile. Bo Lin, the ambassador of a Chinese green tea brand, was scheduled to attend a fan meet in Hefei, China this weekend. However, the organiser has pulled the plug on the event quoting “unforeseen circumstances”.
The official announcement read: “Due to unforeseen circumstances, the fan meet originally planned to be held at Hefei Anhui Grand Theatre on Aug 23 has been cancelled. We deeply apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
